Running
Is it all down to muscle type, I know from my early teens I could climb up Snowdon mountain but I couldn't run quarter a mile. It got worse when I had malnutrition for 20 before I was diagnosed coeliac condition ,even then things didn't get better until I went on the Hate diet (Google Hate diet)🤔

Not Running,
I took a break over the weekend from
running
, and went swimming, I took part in the 750m Swansea Swim which was part of the Swansea Triathlon weekend, there was a 3000m and 1900m swim but the 750 was my distance, the atmosphere was amazing, everybody had smiles on their faces and were genuinely friendly

It's been raining in Derbyshire & quite cool but seems to be ideal
running
weather. I did my warm-up stretches, got Otto the dog ready & off we went.

Running wild
Lovely run today to complete week 8. On Isle of Lewis so really out in the wilds with nature for company. Delighted to find a fairly level run from outside the door of our cottage. It was a beautiful morning, not too hot but sunny and bright. Heard a cuckoo and a corncrake as well as lots of skylarks

Barefoot Running?
I recently read the book of the same name and found it really interesting and I am now curious and wondering if anyone here runs barefoot or with 'barefoot shoes'? Personally I hate walking barefoot but the sections (admittedly lightweight) that cover anatomy and evolution are very interesting and appear

Running Sticks!
Well this afternoon's run is going to be a bit different I'm on a course of antibiotics that's making me very wobbly but I don't want to lose the momentum of week one ha ha so I'm gonna run with my long walking poles and see how I go.I have real difficulty
running
as slowly as I need to and I'm wondering

Cool Running...
Easy
running
as CB continued to murmur in my ear. Easy was the name of the game throughout.... the whole ethos of the run was based on
running
in cold weather, and although the temperature may not have been as low as of late.. it had the potential to be so.

Running with PV?
I wondered if modest levels of
running
have any meaningful impact on RBC production/ full blood count and iron?

Running post cancer
So a shock diagnosis of colon cancer last year, surgery and chemo and I'm now doing c25k for a second time hoping that exercise can have some beneficial effect in keeping me healthy. Anyone else in this situation?

Silent running
I managed to leave my headphones at home, well, on the post by the back door this morning, and almost used that as an excuse not to run. Instead I just sighed and got on with it and am so pleased I did! Gremlins are an issue at the moment in the first ten minutes (on Sunday's run, I was pretty fed up

Running with Kathleen 💨🌬️
Well that was fun! A very ploddy first half against a horrendous head wind on the cycle path today. When I turned at the half way point though it coincided with an enormous gust and I nearly took to the air. It was pretty warm despite the gale so I needed to take my jacket off and that was a bit tricky

🍎Running Red
There was an icy west wind and rain to greet me this morning & my immediate negative thought was, there goes my run… however late morning the rain stopped & out popped the sun! Perfect I thought as I quickly donned my laid out kit before I changed my mind! What I didn’t realise that the whole world
