Ketones inhibit PCa, in the lab of course, but still...
Just came across an article about this study from Duke researchers. Interesting possibility for dietary intervention? Researchers stress that it's not about the diet, but presence of ketones.

blood test needed
Quick question group - is it good practice to get a GP blood test (stating NO to B12 test as of IM) yearly for someone with AG PA? (Also take complex B12 supplements so being conscious about skewing results). What bloods should I ask for ? The usual group ? Many thanks

Cancelled Blood Test
My 3 monthly blood test was cancelled due to the cyber attack at Guy’s Hospital. I am currently on 11mg Pred and 15mg Methotrexate once a week. I am told that blood tests will not be able to be resumed for another month. This would mean a 4 month gap between tests, also I will be on holiday in July

40+ years of Exhausting Fibro!!
Hi everyone, I have not been on this forum for a long time now due to declining health and numerous personal stuff (all pretty traumatic/stressful unfortunately!) Anyway, in early February this year I developed a really painful right arm/shoulder that I felt wasn't fibro-related. Local chiropractor said

Leukemia-associated macrophages, their role in the CLL Tumor Micro-environment and how they affect progression and therapy response
Understanding how the CLL Tumor Micro-environment (TME) functions is crucial to improving CLL therapy. CLL cells are not as robust as healthy B cells and they rely on their created TME in the nodes and bone marrow for their survival. That's why it's so easy to kill CLL cells with in vitro testing - checking

Large lesion on liver - 10cm x 5cm
I am after a bit of advice from anyone that may have been in a similar position to me. I had blood tests done towards the end of last year due to on going acid reflux symptoms. In the last 6 months I have been on the cancer pathway for investigations for throat and stomach, all biopsies came back clear
