'Hidden' aortic stenosis?
Given a family history of
aortic
stenosis
and the fact that I also have LP(a) which is a known risk factor, my GP is organising an echocardiogram for me; he explained that although he can't hear any heart murmur, there is a possibility that it might be 'hidden'. Has anyone else come across this?

Aortic stenosis
Morning all , I’m 14 months post my second ablation which was an RF redo to tidy up the PV and left atrial floor as I was told . I’m very pleased with my progress so far with only two mild and short episodes of AF . I also have mild to moderate stenosis of the valve which I was told in 2017 would have

Benefit of coherent breathing
At the start of PMR, I was diagnosed with moderate
Aortic
Stenosis
. A symptom of
Aortic
Stenosis
can be arrythmia. I was told that my condition would deteriorate and so regularly monitored. I have a wonderful Qigong teacher who also runs Yoga classes.

Aortic Stenosis - sorted by Tavi
After a long wait to see a Cardiologist (my first referral disappeared in February), which took place in mid-November, I was seen by the Consultant who confirmed my condition and he set everything in motion for a TAVI at Barts. Expectation was for procedure in February subject to US scan and CT Scan

Aortic stenosis moderate to severe
I was born with a bicuspid
aortic
valve my echo says moderate to severe valve
stenosis
. It says my mean gradient across the valve is 26mmhg with some discrepancy in the valve area. Previously they said my heart was enlarged but not mentioned in my results. I don't understand why they say severe.

Aortic Stenosis I’m so confused!
It wasn’t until last year that I happened to see my NHS medical notes that they had written
aortic
stenosis
!! Then of course I panicked and tried to read up as much as I could about the condition. It had been labelled as significant??

Cold feeling in centre of chest
I am having a stent done in January and also have moderate
aortic
stenosis
. Over the last few weeks I have been getting this cold feeling/dull pain in the centre of my chest. The frequency of this happening is increasing. Am I alone with this. It may be totally unrelated to my heart.

An Echo revealed mild
aortic
stenosis
. My heart is ok though. However I struggle with walking. My thighs ache and I have to stop and rest. My GP doesn't seem to be concerned. I requested ACE medication and he agreed to a low dose. However the ache persists. Have others had this experience?,

Hello all
She has congenital sub
aortic
stenosis
. I have been trying to support her as best I can but she would really like to talk to someone who has had this op as an adult as most people the condition is discovered when they are young, hers was discoveredabout 30 years old.

Valve Register
I've had
Aortic
Stenosis
since birth, and AFib and arythmia since 2009. I've recently had pericarditis which was treated in hospital with meds. I often have chest pain and after seeing my GP, he referred my info to a cardiologist.
