How often to Self Inject
Hello all. I was just wondering what you all think about how often we should inject with Vit B12. I had been taking shots since about last Dec of 22, but even though it helped, didn't help much. So after finally being diagnosed with PA, I told my wife to inject me every day for 30 days to sort of give

Help with thyroid results
Hi, I’m new to this site and wondered if anyone could help me? In 2019 I had a lymph node in my neck that was raised I had a scan done and it was harmless but a “slightly enlarged lymph node” but they stated “that there was some nodular changes in my thyroid but again within the limits” so since then

Help Needed with Private Blood Test Results
Hello. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in November 2023 after a year of miserable health. My doctor prescribed 50 mcg levothyroxine (Accord brand) and I started to feel better. In January I had my next blood test (NHS). I had this test late in the morning, after I had eaten, and after taking my medication

Blood results - Any Advice?
Hi! Just looking for maintenance recommendations and any advice is greatly appreciated! Went to a new doctor (endocrinologist) to get a 2nd opinion on my thyroid condition. Of course, my goal is to heal and get off meds completely one day but she said she does not feel it is possible. Was first

Anti thyroglobulin Antibody High
I'd a mole removed from my right shoulder blade last November that was initially feared to be cancerous, but thankfully wasn't so. Since then I have an annoying pain in my right upper abdomen. Have had an endoscopy( am awaiting report but consultant didn't seem overly concerned) had a cystoscopy which

Son tested positive for gastric parietal cell antibodies
My son has history with h pylori, which he was treated for, but the symptoms haven't gone away completely. Last week I was talking about my own b12 deficiency and he informed me he has the same symptoms. I know he has been more tried than normal, but I put it due to the h pylori, after effects. As that

E-Consultation Endocrinologist or Thyroid Specialist Recommendation?
Hi, I have been suffering from symptoms of hypothyroidism including extreme fatigue and sensitivity to cold. Every doctor I see says my TSH is within range and I do not have hypothyroidism. Got a nutrition test done and levels all optimal. Testosterone is optimal also. Results: TSH 2.44 (0.27-4.2)

Hello Friends, I asked this question on my original thread but someone suggested I start a new one. I was diagnosed with Autoimmune Atrophic Gastritis 2 weeks ago and have been having a hard time mentally . My family Dr this past Friday sends me the blood tests results and says they cannot comment

TSH low the rest normal
Can anyone explain why my TSH is low yet the rest is normal? I know my new doctor will be onto this in a flash when they do a test shortly and probably reduce my levothyroxine (I`ve had this battle for years) The following is a private test T4 = 121 range 59-154 TSH

Positive IFA, Negative Parietal Cell, B-12 injections affect IFA test
Hello, I recently tested positive for intrinsic factor blocking antibody but the result of my parietal cell antibody test was negative. I’m curious if other members have had this same experience? My doctors have suspected a PA diagnosis for several years. An IFA test about five years ago produced

Adderall
I have been taking 10mg of Adderall for almost a year. I was just drug tested twice and my Adderall didn't show up in my urine sample. Now the Dr. thinks that I'm not taking them and is probably going to stop my prescription. Has this happened to anyone else and why isn't the medication testing positive

RLS and augmentation – the battle for sufficient treatment.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who has answered and advised me - both on inquiries regarding switch from pramipexole to pregabalin and experiences of treating RLS with morphine only. It has been a BIG help - thanks to you, my doctor has for the time being agreed to give me a small dose of morphine while

update in RLS in pregnancy
I wanted to thank you all for your advice and understanding. I had midwife appointment today and mentioned rls. As expected she knew the name, but was completely clueless about what it is. She was hesitant to accept my ferritin is too low, but at least she referred me to a doctor. I also referred

A Good News Morning
Hi all. I went for my 75 years and annual MOT at the doctors this morning - first time on a f2f with the new ones. It's now official "I'm Perfect Peter!!" Blood results, BP, Weight, HbA1c etc all excellent. Mobility and daily steps outstanding. She said, with these results I cannot find anything to recommend
