Modified release vs. Sustained release
Good evening everyone :) Following on from my post a couple of days ago, I managed to get my hands on my original brand of medication,
Vera

. However, I have noticed that this one does not say modified release on it and is a different colour to the one I originally take.

Same medicine, different brand?
My GP has advised that I always stick to one brand (
Vera

Til
SR
) and the pharmacist also suggested the same however, due to it being out of stock, I have been given the alternative.

IC and pelvic pain
Hi fellow suffers. I was diagnoised with IC 3 years ago and have chronic pelvic pain. I also have vulvodynia and IBS. I have tried numerous medications and bladder instillations which have not worked. I have recently started Elmiron but too early to say if it's helping yet. I follow a strict IC diet

Itch Relief?
While vacationing last winter, I developed an unbearable itch on my feet. They felt like they were on fire and I was itching so hard I was afraid I’d tear the skin off. I grabbed some aloe vera (for sunburn) and rubbed it on my feet. Instant relief. Certainly easier than jumping in the shower! Hope

Benefit of private consultation, Adeno & Fybroids
Hi this is the first time I have posted here, but have been following messages for a while and just wanted to share the positive experience I’ve had with a private consultation. I started in November last year with what I would describe as hemorrhaging. I’ve always had heavy periods but this was uncontrolled

Original pelvic pain back 3 months after hysterectomy
To cut a very long story short. I have had significant pelvic pain with bowel and bladder issues for 2.5 years. It was difficult to get a diagnosis. I was told at first it was a bowel issue, then Endometriosis/Adenomyosis and was eventually diagnosed with 4 fibroids, 1 being 7cm. A year ago, I was put

Prostap injection
Hi everyone. I had my first prostap injection 3 weeks ago as told I would have no bleeding. Yesterday I started spotting with some stomach ache. Not terrible but frustrating as the purpose of this injection was to stop my bleeding. How long does bleeding last as due full hysterectomy possibly September

Advice Needed Please
Hi. I’m hoping for some advice. I have an appointment next week to discuss starting on Prostap or Zolodex. I’ve been told I’d have to start HRT alongside it and I’m wondering what experiences people have have with this treatment. I can’t seem to make up my mind and the stress of worrying about it all
