Fludrocortisone
0.1 mg. Once a year there is an Adrinal crisis, I end up in intensive care... Constant weakness, no vitality, I sleep a lot... I am only 43 years old. I'm from Ukraine...It's difficult to get competent advice from a specialist. I would be glad for reasonable advice Written

Hydrocortisone versus Prednisone
My wife was diagnosed with addison's disease, she started using predsinose up to 7.5mg daily and 0. 2mg of
fludrocortisone
, after starting the treatment she had a slight improvement, she came out of the crisis she had when she was diagnosed with the disease, but to have a slow pace of life, she did not

NHS endo refused LIO trial based on these latest test results
I’m on Levo monotherapy and a steroid,
Fludrocortisone
, for low BP. Am post-menopausal. I have an annual appointment with an NHS endo, and I asked him for a trial of T3, which I know in theory I am entitled to ask for if I’m not well on just Levothyroxine.

#9 Thyroid hormones introduced - I CAN FINALLY TOLERATE T3
I think I will get away with avoiding
fludrocortisone
for now as my BP seems stable and my sodium has risen 5 points, potassium is also in a good place.

Is it a breach of my patient rights when a GP does a thyroid blood test without telling me?
This rise has improved a lot of my symptoms, though it hasn’t been straightforward as my other medication,
Fludrocortisone
, a steroid, seems to affect thyroid levels.

Your opinion on some test results
I’m on a steroid,
Fludrocortisone
, for low blood pressure, and have found I’ve had to reduce that as I’ve increased the Levo. Since April, I have also been trialling splitting my Levo dose, taking it three times a day (away from food), to see if it increases my FT3 conversion.

Fludrocortisone dose
Has anyone else found that they have to lower their
Fludrocortisone
dose when they have raised their Levothyroxine dose, and if so by what ratio?

Hi, Does anyone have experience of taking
Fludrocortisone
? My husband is experiencing massive blood pressure drops when standing but high pressure lying down. He is wearing abdominal binders, compression socks and is trying to increase his fluid intake.

Potential Heart Issue
I have had a holter monitor around 4 months ago and they said they noticed that my blood pressure kept dropping slightly so they prescribed my
Fludrocortisone
to raise it slightly. This hasn’t made difference at all. When ever I take my blood pressure generally it’s bang on normal 120/70.

Low blood pressure
I have permanent AF and when first diagnosed had low blood pressure 75/50 and was put on

Where to now St Peter
Medication currently 2 x Sinemet 3 times a day but need
Fludrocortisone
twice a day to increase blood pressure. According to neurologist (Movement specialist) unable to increase Sinemet as it would lower blood pressure too much. So that's it? There doesn't seem to be any way forward!
