Just looking for some advise or from anyone who has gone through similar!
I had surgery last June to remove bilateral cysts diagnosed with stage 4 endo and was put on Decaptyl for 3 months following this to stop regrowth. However within 6 months of TTC I now have 2 Endometriomas on my right ovary 8cm and 4cm.
My consultant scanned me and advised they needed to be surgically removed and to have IVF straight after due to how aggressive my endometriosis is.
I wasn’t surprised but just worried about IVF following this and the effect it will have on my fertility. I asked about having my AMH done but was told it won’t make any difference or change the fact they need removing. But also my left ovary is normal and had normal follicles.
Just wondered what size have they allowed you to do IVF with endometriomas? And if anyone has had any success with IVF following cystectomys?
I have a call with the fertility team in a few weeks and they are both going to work together but can’t help but wonder if I need to get another opinion!
Thanks in advance!

I was in a similar situation as you as my endometrioma cysts returned 3 months post surgery. I was fiagnosed with stage 4 endomitriosis in 2020. They were 10cm big on the right ovary and 15cm on the left ovary. I was told they were too big to start ivf.
I had an exicsion with a speicialist last September and i am currently in my first cycle of my ivf. The cysts have returned however, they are small 4cm and 2cm. The ivf gynaecologist is confident that they can access my ovaries to collect the eggs.
To be honest it does affect you amh, but i have still managed to do ivf despite two surgeries in a year.
