Update on head pain.
I did receive a prompt medical assessment this week. Based on history and bloodwork GCA has been ruled out. The headache I have is being treated with over the counter analgesics. My doctor is very good, very concerned and I think he is right but it is hard for me not to wonder. I've had some unfortunate

Advice on raising NDT
The
pain
in my
head
, neck and shoulders increased when I started NDT and never reduced. I had to increase the use of pain killers.

Posterior circulation migraines
When I first started having them,it was about 2 or 3 per week,my symptoms are double vision, throbbing in back of
head
but no
pain
,balance and coordination problems and feeling confused. I never suffered any
pain
in my
head
. My neurologist started me on triptans but the side effects were to much.

Back/pelvis/hip pain?
A month or 2 ago, I got a new dog, he's bigger than my previous dog and he pulls on the lead. And I got stressed adapting to the change. Somewhere soon after that I picked up a bug, and the PMR "buzzing" in my shoulders, arms and calves popped back. Not really painful but aware of "the bucket" I stopped

Bit old fashioned...
I discovered that a castor oil pack really helps with knee pain. It's horrible sticky oil, but it works topically (for me at least). I have bad memories of this stuff from my childhood. Any hint of sickness and out came the bottle. I would not recommend injesting it! 🤮 it's better than the deep heat

pmr symptoms
has anyone else had posterior base of
head
pain
with pressure headaches that also wrap around anterior upper chest and neck area with a tight, vise like feeling. Seems like the pain is traveling upward from the original shoulder and back pain, but no temporal or jaw pain.

I had pelvic prolapse, cystocele and rectocele. Had pelvic prolapse repair 1 year ago, they took out uterus and tightened vagina to hold bladder & bowel. When I came too after op, they said I had a cyst one my left ovary so would need another op yo remove this. I have been in pain since op, it depends

Walking Speed
I know our bodies are different, but we all have something in common. Has anyone done or tried something besides ampyra that increased the speed that you walk? I've tried ampyra, dysport and I'm still moving like a turtle. My legs still feel very heavy! I'm still hoping to be walking normal again!

Right Temple Pain but Tolerable
My
head
pain
along the right temporal was intolerable, which led me to the ER on April 16. Currently, my right temple hurts, although it’s tolerable, extreme fatigue today, legs and arms weak, and scalp tenderness. If my pain was intolerable, I would go to the ER.

Polyneuropathy.
I treat my polyneuropathy with B6 and B12. GracePV shared their experience with B6, B12 nd B1. This inspired me to revisit my self treatment of my polyneuropathy. I came across information about Benfotiamine which is similar to Thiamine Hydrochloride and Thiamine Nitrate. There are indications

Neurofibroma
Not thyroid related, but has anyone experienced under skin neurofibroma? Trying to figure out whether to have it removed or not. No pain, but wondering if it shall get bigger in size.
