ToeNail fungus treatment and Methotrexate
I’ve recently been recommended Curanail by my footcare practitioner for a toe nail fungus condition. I wondered if any one has used this while taking weekly methotrexate, and sometimes Naproxen. My blood test results are all fine and RA is well controlled atm. Looking at the instructions it can take

Naproxen and sleep - too much?
Hi, I have recently tried taking Naproxen as I am in a lot of pain with an arthritic knee (knee replacement later this year) plus general aches and found that other painkillers weren't really helping (Ibuprofen, co-codamol) . I took one Naproxen in the morning after breakfast and after doing some work

Supporting evidence for PIP
I’m ploughing through the online form and it keeps saying about supporting evidence. I was diagnosed in 2021 by my then GP in the midlands over the Covid period - so not many doctor visits. Not much prescribed, using paracetamol and/or ibuprofen as and when necessary. Basically have been self-managing

Lower stomach pain
Hi all. I am looking for advice as I’ve just had a rather underwhelming telephone conversation with a GP about stomach pain. To summarise, I had really bad problems with my back stating mid January. Was put on Naproxen and Ibuprofen gel and briefly (about 10 days) Baclofen 10 mg. I was already on Lansoprazole

..... and now the next thing comes along !!
Hi, As if I thought things could not get any worse, I have just been diagnosed with sciatica, having suffered with the PMR for the past year and wondered if anyone has suffered from this having PMR as well, so if they are related or not. ? Would it be possible also that could be a PMR flare ? although

Naproxen or similar (NSAID)
Good morning all, Has anyone else had kidney problems with taking Naproxen or similar? I have been diagnosed now with Chronic Kidney disease which is probably due to long term use of Naproxen. I have been on this for 8 years or more and now being told that this is for short term use only. In the last

Celebrex and Curcumin and Magnesium.
I recently received a question from a fellow warrior based on a comment I had made on an older post that he had started. The question was what I thought about Naproxen compered to Celebrex and I told him I had very limited experience with Naproxen. I then clicked on older posts about nsaids and prostate

New here 😕
Hello - I'm new here and reaching out in the hope of managing 'early' symptoms that are beginning to make me feel quite low. Reading the entries I have so much empathy and am in awe of the courage and tenacity of those suffering over such long periods. I went to the GP in November with a distinct pain

Mum's battle
Hi all, Mum has suffered from adrenal insufficiency over the past 15 years, as well as pernicious anemia, hypothyroidism, low WBC count and was hospitalised several times with low electrolytes. The electrolyte imbalance was caused by the cortisol acetate supplement she takes. She was numerous doctors

Laparoscopy made everything 1000x times worse, anyone else?
Hi all, I wondered if anyone else had, had a bad experience with their laparoscopy? I have suffered with endometriosis for 18 years ((I am 34 yes old)) (constantly misdiagnosed, gas lighted, not listened to, told it was normal period pains and to "just get on with it" - you know the usual story for

periods on mirena but no pain
I’ve had 2 laps for endo, have tri cycled the pill and been on tablets such as naproxen. Ive been so luckily that having the coil fitted during my 2nd lap has majorly improved pain and quality of life. I’ve had it for a year and bit and I’m on my 5th period. My dilemma is it’s pain free but how much

Pain Spreading/Getting Worse
Hello All, I made a post a week or so ago about my pelvic pain. My symptoms started in December 2023. It started with UTI symptoms and persistant arousal. By January I was getting burning pain in my clitoris, urethra, and vagina, and some stabbing sensations, as well as feeling like there was something

Effective pain relief
Hi all,I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in December 2023 they ablated it during the laproscopy I recovered well but now I am back in a lot of pain :( I get the pain mostly in my pelvic area and right flank. I started to think the right flank pain was maybe coming from my kidney as I've had issues
