Upping Gonal-F
hi ladies, on my first EC I was on a low dose (125) of gonal-f every day, we collected 15 eggs, 10 were mature + all 10 fertilised leaving us with 6 embryos. Sadly we are having to start with another EC and they have upped my dose to 250 a day. Im happy to listen to their advise but I am so worried

Anyone tried the step down protocol? Pcos
hi after a really poor ivf cycle abroad on 112.5 gonal f .only obtained 5 eggs 3 over mature 2 were fine (lost baby to fetal anomaly) and one did not implant . I started off with 14 folicles but by the time they retrieved them they lost alot and were over mature . I have good amh and egg reserve! Aswell

Gonal F Vs Menopur. Very low AMH
Hi 👋🏻 I have finally chosen my clinic, and will start a cycle in the next month or two. I'm going to be doing PGT-A due to my previous miscarriages, if I have any embryos. My issue is I have very low AMH (< 2 pmol/l). I do get pregnant but have miscarried all 3 last year. So I have no idea what this

Adding more stims mid Cycle
Hi, This is my second round of IVF, and they have changed me to a long protocol to try and get more eggs, I have been stimming for 6 days, and had bloods yesterday, which I have been told my hormones levels are not looking goods, and they have added 150 menopur to my cycle along with the Gonal F 300

Pergoveris vs gonal f
Hello, not sure if anyone can answer this but I thought I’d ask in any case. I did my first IVF round at the age of 35 using gonal f. This was successful. Fast forward to current time and I’ve been on pergoveris for my last two rounds which has not been very successful. We have decided to do another

Ovaries did not respond to stimulation drugs
I started my fifth cycle last week and yesterday my doctor told me that ovaries did not respond. This was the first time it happened to me. I took Genatropin 0.5, Gonal f 225, Letrozol 2x1 and Femara 1 tablet per day. On my previous cycles medications worked really well. I don't know what happened I

3 eggs on high dose, none fertilised
I'm 38 with a low egg reserve. I had my 1st cycle on the NHS and I was on protocol 9, which is their highest protocol. I was on 75 luveris and 375 gonal-f for a total of 18 days before I took my trigger and I had my retrieval on Monday there. They got 3 eggs, and the next morning I found out that 2 had

Disappointing response to stims 🙁
Hello everyone, I hope everyone’s journeys are going well. A bit of background about me … I follow a non standard protocol for FET where I inject gonal f alternate days to stimulate one or two follicle growth so the natural oestrogen encourages my lining to thicken. This normally takes 5 doses.

natural ivf cycle experience
Hi our 6th attempt at ivf (medicated cycle 225units of Gonal F) was not successful as the eggs were abnormal. Other than ‘no eggs’ I think we have had every eventuality that does not involve a positive test. The clinic have now advised either natural IVF, mild IVF where medication would be started

finally having another go!
Hey everyone- finally started stims yesterday for another fresh cycle in our quest for a sibling. Our last cycle ended in a miscarriage at 9weeks with our only embryo. I thought I was all ready to go again after delays getting booked in but when the lining scan yesterday morning was in the same room

Lazy ovary after IVF stims without down regulation
Hi everyone, I was wondering whether anyone else went into IVF treatment with both ovaries functioning properly, but then one ovary didn't respond well to the stims and 7 months on, that ovary is still a bit lazy. I've searched this topic on the forum and it seems that women tend to get a lazy ovary

Test results got worse after a year
Hi everyone, I'm a bit surprised and slightly shocked I think this morning after my doctor called me back with my latest test results. For context, I'm 36 and last year we did an IVF cycle on the NHS and my counts were AMH 14.4 , FSH 4.9 in the follicular phase and I generally had about 11 follicles

Day 5 of cycle (4 of gonadotrophinn /Gonal F). Feeling full in ovaries.
Hi all, I’m seeking some reassurance. This is my first cycle of IVF and I’m on day 5 of my cycle and day 4 of taking Gonal F. Due to begin Ganerelix tomorrow and to go for my first scan Thursday. I’m finding in the evenings I begin to feel very full and strange in my ovary’s, a bit watery perhaps.

Gonal-F experience
My current (second) IVF cycle will probably be cancelled because they see only two little follicles 💔 In my first IVF cycle, I had 13 big follicles. In that first cycle, I started with Gonal-F and 10 days later I started with decapeptyl injections. However in this second cycle, which is done in a

Bleeding after Gonal-F
I have started with Gonal-F three days ago. My period was already finished, but today I started bleeding. I don't understand why. Did anyone experienced something similar?

Gonal-F and fyremadel experiences??
Hi everyone! We have our treatment plan and it’s proposed that I take gonal-f and fyremadel - Does anyone have experience of these, how did you manage, was there side effects, did it impact your mood?? I’m wondering if some time off work would be beneficial. Thank you in advance ☺️
