update on switching to digoxin from lopressor
Stopped digoxin this am and starting back on lopressor. bad heartburn and nausea just kept getting worse. Lots of hydrating and will explore ablation. Really felt sick on digoxin. Although don't feel generally great this was really not a good experience.

Heartburn from Digoxin
On Digoxin 2 plus weeks. Blood level fine. Am having constant heartburn/nausea. My Dr said not a usual side effect. Tough it out? or go back on Lopressor which had its own side effects. Many say it will get better. Permanent persistent afib.

Just another question all whilst I was on verapamil and digoxin my heart rate just raced away for no reason not afib but just a rapid rate of bpm whilst moving or trying to work doesn't happen with bisoprolol so much

Persistent Afib
Thank you to everyone for your replies. This is the best site for info and also advice that I have found. Persistent AFib but HR controlled and stays under 100 most of the time. Now on Eliquis and switched to Digoxin .25mgm a month ago with Lopressor 25mgm/25mgm and trying to wean off Lopressor

digoxin
Have been on Digoxin now for 6/12 and it has had a profound effect. Unable to take more modern drugs because I have Asthma. I am certainly much better than I was. I think it’s probably your hypotension drug causing your problems and have a consultation with your Gp.

Permanent AFib
Started on Digoxin .25 daily for past six days and cut Lopressor down to 25 twice a day. Am going to try to wean off. HR 80-110. Generally do not feel well and am going to revisit ablation. I had blurring of vision and dizziness on higher doses of Lopressor alone. Last cardioversion only lasted

Is it my Heart or my Medication
I was admitted to hospital in 2022 with fast AF, and it was discovered at that time I had Severe Heart Failure. All of which I suspect brought on by a VERY overactive thyroid. My conditions are controlled by medication, and my heart failure status is now Mild. Ive had a cardio versionin 2020 which was
