Relentless Asthma flare
Hi everyone, Last Friday I just started coughing out of no ware. No other symtoms accept maybe a little sinus. I started to take doxycycline just in case. As the days went by it got worse. Sinus , Phelm, and a relentless dry cough. Went to pulmonary Dr. changed antibiotic to z pack and a 6 day methypredisone

I do not know what to do.
My asthma has been uncontrolled for a year now. Since the beginning of this year, I have had five courses of steroid tablets and five courses of antibiotics. Every day I need ventolin 3-4 times. My asthma nurse doesn't prescribe anything new to me, and the specialist didn't change anything either.

Sodium cromoglycate inhaler (Intal)
Can anyone share their experience getting Intal inhaler since it has been delisted in the UK? Or, do you now take it via a nebulizer instead? If yes, can you share the name of the nebulizer device and the manufacturer of the cromolyn/chromoglycate solution? Pubmed indicates it's less effective than

Asthma getting worse as spring allergies increase
I was recently given a new inhaler to take along with Dulera,Ventolin, and singular - it is called Inspiolto Respimat.I was wondering if that means my asthma is getting worse? The new puffer is for COPD, but I don't have that.

After seeing new Consultant last week
well, had my appointment with new respiratory consultant on Weds last week, she was new to me and vice versa. She actually took the time to talk me through my ct scan done in April 2021, said she would arrange another CT soon so we can compare the two to see what the Bronchiectasis is up to now. I had

asthmatic response to new rug made in India
I bought a new, woollen rug shortly before Christmas 2023. It immediately caused me to go from being virtually free of asthma symptoms to being in need of steroid inhaler and frequent ventolin doses - I was very short of breath, my lungs were irritated and when exercising, swimming or walking, I’d

Misleading Information
Bit disillusioned with some content Just read a contributor asserting that Ventolin is a steroid. It isn't. Steroid Inhalers are Corticosteroids I would counsel that folk check facts before offering guidance. Noted a coue of misguided contributors already so I will just leave
