Had PLMD for 6 years, I'm 79 and on no PLMD medication at present. The symptoms have worsened. Has anyone with below symptoms found any successful medication please? Kicking, and shaking in bed, restlessness, up and down all night, acting out dreams, sleeping on toilet, at basin, standing up, sitting

Permanent AFib
Started on Digoxin .25 daily for past six days and cut Lopressor down to 25 twice a day. Am going to try to wean off. HR 80-110. Generally do not feel well and am going to revisit ablation. I had blurring of vision and dizziness on higher doses of Lopressor alone. Last cardioversion only lasted

I hope this finds everyone well. It's kind of a rainy day here in Georgia. Let me come to my point to see if there are any of you who might be going through the same thing as me. Every once in awhile I get what I've been calling over the years "spells". I suddenly become unbelievably sleepy. I can

medication timing???
I am now almost 4 weeks free of Pramipexole 😀 I feel like I am over the worst ( back from hell) but I’m now religiously waking at 11pm then again at 12pm (and sometimes at 1am) with RLS. I have a 10 minute walk around the house and this does ease my pain. I am slowly increasing my Gabapentin dose and

Extremely tired of chemical castration
I'm interested in chatting with those who have had an orchiectomy, guess thats how you spell it. I'm tired of all the side affects of cancer drugs and all the problems they cause to my body so I'm concidering having an orchiectomy. Yes I know all about what happens when you get this but as far as I'm

Vimpat is working for severe RLS and PLMD
I’ve had almost complete resolution of my RLS on Vimpat (lacosamide) now at 150 mg at 10 am and 10 pm. This is a remarkable turnaround in my symptoms. I started on 50 twice a day and the effect started to wane with a tolerable amount of breakthrough RLS. I increased to 100 twice a day after several weeks

Prebiotic Probiotic Antibiotic... What's the deal?
Ok... Antibiotic is just added to the post title for rhyming. This post is not about antibiotic. So what is this about? Bacillus Subtilis PXN21 beneficial for PD... And Bio-Kult sells out. Thankfully pvw2 pointed out that any Subtilis strain works L. Plantarum PS128 beneficial for PD... And

How to handle going off mirapex
My neurologist decided to take me off mirapex. This is a new neurologist since mine retired. She specializes in sleep problems. I also have sleep apnea. I dont know why she decided to take me off mirapex. When she told me I was in a state of shock. I also take oxycodone. She is taking me off

Pee problems
Lately my hypochondria has been in over-drive. I have incontinence. That is, when I feel like I'm done , and zip -up, I shortly see fluid has soaked into my denims. I use Myrbetriq, a drug to lessen bladder spasms. It works, that is, when I'm done I don't feel the urge to continue peeing

Motion Sickness
At the ripe old age of 77, I will be taking my first cruise this summer with my children and grandchildren. I'm trying to be prepared for anything so I asked my doctor about medications for motion sickness. He said I would not be able to use the patch that is worn behind the ear because it can cause

Hot milk works
I have RLS and PLMD such that I have very strong muscle contractions in my legs and abdomen. It has been increasing in intensity over the last few years and may stop for a few nights then return. sleep aid
just sharing a link that is a new product helpful for sleep. It was recommended by a very well know integrative doctor in California. I am not recommending it for restless legs, but my sister and her husband say it helps with sleep. https://lifewave.com
