Where can I buy Euthyrox?
I’ve been self medicating with Euthyrox 50 and have run out and switched to Eltroxin which causes indigestion and doesn’t seem as effective. I have a new endo appointment at the beginning of June and will hopefully be diagnosed and medicated but in the meantime, I’d like to switch back to Euthyrox.

sodium
Hi I got blood results recently and I have hypothyroidism which is been treated with Eltroxin 25mcg and I also have low sodium. Sodium level is 134 which is just one below normal range. I’m not been treated for this and I’m wondering is this something I should be concerned about and get it investigated

To split or not to split?
I have decided to start self medicating again and used the company I first used to buy some thyroxine. They have changed brands and now only supply Eltroxin in 100 mcg tablets. Tbh I didn't even think about that so ordered some thinking I could just split them as I felt 50 was a better starting point

helvella - Thyroid Blog
You might or might not know that I have been accumulating information about thyroid issues in my blog - I have created a significant number of pages now. Many will be aware of some of the specific pages which I link to quite regularly. But you might not have realised what else is there. Below is a copy

Hello from New Zealand
My adult son was diagnosed with hypothyroidism from a routine test after a slight head injury during Covid lockdown. I have not been able to lose weight and so asked my GP for thyroid function test - and sure enough!! So was started on Eltroxin. Lately my usually reasonably well controlled BP went haywire

any clues?
I posted recently about starting Thybon. I’m back with another post , feeling very despondent. My t3 was 2.6 (3.1-6.8) while t4 was about 17. (12-22) It was suggested I start slow and add 5 initially to the 112 eltroxin dose and increase when tolerated to 10. I began and although my energy lifted

Help with how to proceed
Delighted to report that after 6 months trying and trialling different levels of Eltroxin, I have at last persuaded the GP to agree to adding t3 back into my prescription. I’m not sure how best to take it though, whether to reduce eltroxin or not. And the GP really didn’t know but gave me 10 Thybon as

Different brands levothyroxine
Hi , after speaking with my doctor ( after the endocrinologist debacle) it was agreed that I would try a different brand of levothyroxine due to various side affects I've been having .Different people seem to get along with different brands. I've tried Teva and Eltroxin so far. Just picked up my prescription

Afib/tachycardia
Can any of you tell me your experience with the drug Amiodorone? My cardiologist, which I have not seen yet is planning on putting me on it! My last pacemaker check up showed that I had tachycardia during afib. I’ve had afib for years (24+) two ablations, no help. Only drugs are bisoprolol and apixaban
