Levothyroxine and vitamin - timings
Morning. I have taken my first dose of Levothyroxine this morning. I have a recollection of being told / reading about timing of taking other medication being important but can’t find it to refresh myself. Would someone be able to tell me when I am best to take my vitamins..? B12, B complex and D as

Questions for Endocrinologist
Today is the day, I am finally seeing an endocrinologist. Any suggestions of things to ask? Trying to be optimistic about the appointment but quietly cautious. Below are the questions I have so far: - FT3 measurement to ensure adequate conversion - Pregnancy monitoring and appropriate FT4 and TSH levels

For anyone who is on T3 only... When did you realise you needed it?
Hi everyone. I've been on a real journey since January with Hashimoto's. I started on levothyroxine and it made me feel a lot worse. I started seeing a private thyroid doctor who looked at my bloods and saw my T3 had dropped on levo, and with my symptoms she decided levo was not right for me and put

graves journey update
Thought I’d follow up post endocrinology appointment. New blood tests came back FT4 11.5 (range 11-22) TSH > 0.01 So whilst my FT4 is making great strides in reduction and the 20mg carbimazole is working, TSH still needs to wake up. All hyperthyroid symptoms have gone. Feel the least anxious I

Serum selenium results
I just had my selenium results back today. 1.27 Umo/L ref ( 0.75-1.46) Was advised to get selenium tested as recent tpo antibodys were raised . Not sure now if I actually need selenium with this result ? GP advised selenium would help but I'm guessing depending on results which seem to be in range

T4/T3 Combi Overmedicated Help Please
I posted yesterday about my recent feelings of overmedication but didnt get many replies. Its just symptoms, not blood tests, but had palpitations, fatigue, fast heart beat, shortness of breath. Was on 150mcg Levo and 12.5 T3 daily. Also added daily selenium which might have complicated things. Cut

Supplement help to support thyroid
Hi Thyroid UK Community, I think Berberine, and selenium sounds like it could be beneficial, from what I have researched. There are studies to support that they could be beneficial. Does anyone have thoughts?
