Pseudomonas and night sweats
I’ve been on
promixin
nebulisers for two or three years now twice a day. I experienced night sweats occasionally where I wake up cold with damp sheets and hair and have to change my pjs in the middle of the night.

Colistimethate sodium powder for use in a nebuliser mixed with Salbutamol instead of Saline.
Good afternoon all, on a daily basis I take the above powdered inhaled antibiotic (
Promixin
) through my nebuliser with a saline solution to help with my pseudomonas bugs. The other day I noticed I had ran out of saline so I had to used one of my salbutamol solutions to mix it.

Promixin advice please
After a lengthy battle I finally got
Promixin
prescribed and have the Philips rep due on Wednesday to bring my I-neb. Looking at the
Promixin
box it says for infusion and doesn't appear to have a disc inside. Is there a
Promixin
for inhalation and have I been prescribed the wrong kind? Thank you.
