Hi, I'm in my upper 40s, diagnoses with PV several years ago. My platelets were just shy of 1.1M at the peak before starting Besremi in May 2023. At that time I was getting a phlebotomy about every 2.5 months to keep HCT below 45. Like others have said on this board, it seems the evidence is strong

Itchy skin, scratchy eyes, heat and humidity…. 🤔
Good morning from Brisbane, Australia 👋🏻 I’ve got ET JAK2 pos and have started to get the itchies 😆 I have read that it’s common with PV but I wondered about ET? I’ve been trially contact lenses and my eyes aren’t so happy with them. I’ve tried a variety, some monthly’s, some dailies. My left eye

Hi guys, I need your help as my doctors do not give me much information or to be precise been with two allergy doctors, both gave me different opinions so i don't know what to do. I have ra and am taking rinvoq. only recently started having some ear problems fluid on ears and a full feeling causing me to have trouble sleeping. I haven't had any signs of cold or allergies either. the doctor said to use Zyrtec which did not help and I was wondering if anyone has had any ear issues

Anxiety and A-Fib
I had anxiety over getting a Cochlear Implant done. I was taking Atarax on top of Zyrtec which causes QT Elongation. So I was diagnosed with AFIB and sent to the ER. Prescribed Metoprolol and a 81 mg aspirin. I didn't take the Metoprolol because it was on a Recall list by the FDA for 3 months as it

Update 7.6
Happy to say that the news remains favorable on all fronts. I reviewed my PV status with the MPN Specialist at Johns Hopkins. I remain in a complete hematologic response at 150mcg Besremi. Tolerance remains the same, with mild lymphopenia, borderline neutropenia, and mild itching. I switched to

How to Change to NDT
Any advice as to the best way to transition from 119 mcg Levo to NDT, in a gentle way. I have no thyroid. For example do I stop the Levo one day and start NDT the next, and if so what dose, or do a reduced dose of both for a few days/weeks until acclimatised? How much NDT should I take, both at the

Anyone felt as if drunk while on Relugovix?
After 13 months of ADT vacation, I've gone back on ADT last week. This time I am on Relugovix (Orgovyx) instead of Lupron. Since I exercise pretty much everyday, even upping my training a little more on the cardio side of late, I think I am doing not too bad against the fatigue from the ADT. Then

Where to get NDT
I'll keep this short. I have no thyroid. I'm on 119 mcg Levo and have just been on 2.5 - 5mcg Lio (I started low and slow), but stopped as I had random chest pains and feeling rubbish after a month or so on it. I'm now considering trying NDT as a replacement. Please PM me with any recommendations of

Provenge immunotherapy
After 5.5 years on Lupron (no Zytiga, Xtandi, Daro, etc.), my PSA hit its highest points ever (1.92), although I'm still not 2 points above my lowest reading of 0.5 (only one of those). I'm metastatic and was at diagnosis, so still have prostate. I've been researching Provenge a bit, and understand that

T3 equivalent of NDT
Hello A very clever person on here worked out the likely mcg of T3 & T4, contained in 3.5 grains of NDT from Thailand. Unfortunately I've mislaid the post. I'm seeing my endo on Wednesday and I want to understand why he put me on such low doses of Synthetic T3 & T4 for eight weeks. The new blood tests

The Existence of the Oligometastatic State in Prostate Cancer (and other cancers)
Members of the FPC Forum: I submit to you that either I am a Prophet/Visionary, or I am a Fool, but I state clearly... and emphatically...that the oligometastatic state exists in Prostate Cancer and other cancers as well..I believe that if we were to sum it up as an equation, that it would be something

Dexa scan report showing osteoporosis
Did a baseline Dexa scan report for dad who is 83 and with bone mets. Some areas like femur say osteoporosis. He does have mets there. Have started his ADT from today with relugolix. Worried about this dexa report. Would love to hear any inputs from those who had a similar situation.

Methionine restricted diet for recurring PSA and positive PMSA pet scan w/ 1 bone met
quick to the point. PSMA pet showed 1 L2 small met and some lymph activity. My PSA went from 2.01 to 2.9 in one month. after doing some research on diets and supplements . I found that the keto diet is extremely high in the amino acid methionine and I made it worse trying to reduce my blood pressure

Letrozole alone after a year of chemo
Hi everyone, my mom is currently being treated with only letrozole after a year of chemo which didn't work very well (she is 100% Er and Pr). She took it for 5 months after taxol and it worked much better, now she has a follow-up Pet scan after another 5 months. I wanted to know if any of you have successfully
