Visaane and Mirena
Hi all, I have a
mirena
for a year, the symptoms got better but still not quite good. I went to the doctor and he recommend to take Vissane on top of it. Has any one tried both at the same time?
Mirena
coil and Vissane (or any hormone pills)? Thanks.

Mirena coil
I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in September 2023 after suffering chronic pelvic pain for 3 years , along with severe bloating and abdominal pains. I was given 6 month trail on the prostap injections which helped massively, now I’ve been advised to go on the coil or I will be discharged. All

Mirena Coil
Hi everyone, can you please tell me your experience with the
Mirena
Coil? I haven't had great luck with side effects both from procedures and medications, so I'm scared to try something that I can't easily stop overnight! Thanks x

Mirena coil
The GP recommended
Mirena
coil as no interaction with Thyroxine for all the hormonal symptoms. But reading around it sounds like it can make Hypothyroidism worse and should I just wait for levels to balance and put up with awful anxiety etc.

Mirena Coil
Is there anything I should know about having
mirena
fitted, any questions I should ask? Do you think I should push for another surgery if it can't be fitted 'normally'? Many thanks, Fay x

Mirena and spotting
I had a
Mirena
fitted 5 weeks ago to help with endometriosis. I've had light bleeding/spotting ever since which shows no sign of stopping. I'm not sure I would have gone for the
Mirena
if I'd known as I don't need it for contraception. Anyone able to advise on how long this is likely to last?

Heavy bleeding Mirena
My chronic pelvic pain has definitely gotten so much better since starting the
mirena
where I have such a better overall quality of life and can pace myself opposed to being stuck in bed all day when a period or ovulation.

Just wondering if any of you have had
Mirena
fitted successfully this way? How painful/uncomfortable is the procedure? Also if there's any advice/anything that might be beneficial for me to know when it comes to having this done? Many thanks, Fay 😊 x

Mirena and Exercise
I don’t want to give up my horse riding as it’s really the only thing that motivates me to get out the house at the moment 😔 I also don’t know whether to call it quits on the
Mirena
and have it removed…

Removing Mirena coil to try to get pregnant
After changing a couple of times contraceptives, in 2021 I got the
Mirena
coil, and it hasn't been that bad, it has stopped my excessive bleeding and helped me to control the pain. Now, I would like to remove the
Mirena
to start trying to get pregnant and I would like to ask for your advise...

First Lap & Mirena insertion next week
So I'm curious to know if anyone who has had these reactions to the pill have tried the
Mirena
coil and if so what your experience was like? Also, if anyone has any tips for my laparoscopy prep and recovery that'd be much appreciated too 😊❤️

misunderstood peri -menopause treatment
No one treated me holistically and no one admitted the
Mirena
coil was the cause. Recovering and lots of therapy to help me with the most traumatic of experiences I went through. Contacted PALS and awaiting their aplology.
