Low hemoglobin
Got my labs today and hemoglobin was 6.8 so they gave me
Mircera
and iron. When I did PD I got
Mircera
and iron but never a transfusion. Does hemodialysis cause worse low hemoglobin? I’m concerned that when I’m able to get back on the transplant list my antibodies will be high.

Weight Gain, Lap nerves & hormone medication after pill/coil?
Hi all, This is my first post and it's so comforting to read others stories/experiences who are going through the same things as me! I have a couple of questions if people wouldn't mind sharing- I was on the waiting list for 2 years and I saw a consultant last week who said it was possible endometriosis

First Lap & Mirena insertion next week
Hey guys... I finally had the call from the hospital to book in my laparoscopy to excise my endo (picked up on MRI scan) which is on Thursday - I have been waiting for what feels like forever while my symptoms worsen so this is amazing news for me 🥳 They are also going to be placing the Mirena coil

First Gynaecology appointment
Hi there, I am new here. A few months ago I went into hospital with debilitating pains to my abdomen. Finally was referred by gynarcology for a MRI. Results came back showing I had two small Endometriomas and Adneomyosis. They said I would have a follow up appointment in June/July. I have been called

Mirena coil
I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in September 2023 after suffering chronic pelvic pain for 3 years , along with severe bloating and abdominal pains. I was given 6 month trail on the prostap injections which helped massively, now I’ve been advised to go on the coil or I will be discharged. All

Dealing with diagnosis and going forward
Hi all, I was diagnosed end of February via laparoscopy. At first I was relieved to know that it wasn't all in my end but the past few months I've struggled now knowing that this is my life. They removed endo at the time of surgery from my bladder, recto-vaginal area and uterosacral ligaments left and

Private care?
Hi everyone, I'm in a desperate situation which I am sure a lot of you can relate to. Quickly, my story: At 24 years old, I have had severe period pains since I started menstruating 12 years ago. Cramps in lower tummy, back, and most painfully, all down my legs, front and back. The leg pains have

Confused! Adhesiolysis or Hysterectomy or Mirena!
I attended a follow up appointment this morning which was booked straight after my lap in March. It was with the original team (let's call them Team A), as since then I was put under a different team for Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis after finding severe, dense, widespread adhesions. Team B refused to scan

Is my Endo back?
Hi Everyone, Looking for some advice or anyone who's been through a similar experience. I had Endo 3 years ago some of my main symptoms where bowel issues bloating, gassy, stomach cramps and diarrhea whenever I ate to much. Initially the doctor put it down to IBS. Obviously that wasn't the case and it

what to try next?
Hi everyone :) I don't think I've posted before, probably because as awful as endo is, I've been lucky in a lot of ways. . I was diagnosed via laparoscopy in 2015, and I live in a city with an accredited endo centre, so my surgeon knew what he was doing. He found and excised a few spots in various places

Mirena Coil
Hi everyone, can you please tell me your experience with the Mirena Coil? I haven't had great luck with side effects both from procedures and medications, so I'm scared to try something that I can't easily stop overnight! Thanks x

Visaane and Mirena
Hi all, I have a mirena for a year, the symptoms got better but still not quite good. I went to the doctor and he recommend to take Vissane on top of it. Has any one tried both at the same time? Mirena coil and Vissane (or any hormone pills)? Thanks.

dineogest & mirena coil
I’m in a bit of a predicament & I understand asking for advice on here isn’t exactly medical professionals but hoping to hear other’s experiences to help give me the answers. I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 endo for 5 years, after a long journey I managed to conceive my daughter - pregnancy definitely
