MBC, blood clots and blood thinners
I was taken off of it when I started the
eliquis
. Can’t take any aspirin on
eliquis
either. Talked to my oncologist and he said I can’t stop taking the
eliquis
. He gave me celebrex which did no good.

Pradaxa (dabigatran)
My GP told me that my best blood-thinner choices were Coumadin, Xarelto, and
Eliquis
. I did my research, and, right or wrong, I chose
Eliquis
, even knowing its expense. (I have no insurance, thus I paid a lot of money to buy my first bottle of pills.)

Eliquis and AF symptoms
My question is, will
Eliquis
relieve any of these symptoms or is it only to prevent blood clots and stroke? My blood pressure is usually in the normal range. Thanks for all your help.

Does metoprolol succinate cause nocturia
I am on Flecainide 25 mg in am and pm, and metoprolol succinate 25 mg in the am, and 2.5 mg
eliquis
in am & pm. Although bph can cause nocturia, has metoprolol succinate and
eliquis
also been known to cause it?

Think I missed one dose of Eliquis
So I just took my regular evening dose of
Eliquis
for pre-op. But I just realized since I was out in the morning and didn't have my pill box with me that I forgot to take it. I'm having an ablation on Tuesday. I've been taking
Eliquis
twice a day and this is the first time I slipped.

PROBLEM WITH APIXABAN - ADVICE NEEDED
Has anybody on
Eliquis
(Abixaban), had this sudden and debilitating vertigo. Thanks. Blood pressure returned to (my) normal by the end of the day and oddly considering I'm in permanent AF, the monitor showed AF free.

Eliquis and Hydrochlorothiazide
My cardio has tried in the past to put me on
Eliquis
(Apixaban) and Hydrochlorothiazide but I did not do well with either medicine.
Eliquis
gave me really bad headaches and muscle aches. The Hydro made me very weak and shaky, so he asked me to stop both and placed me back on low dose aspirin.

A fib meds
I have been prescribed
Eliquis
and Metopropol. I've been taking it for a couple of years. It seems like it would be pretty rough on kidneys. Does anyone take an alternative?

Eliquis and surgery
I will have to go off my
Eliquis
for several days prior to having surgery on one of my eyes. I am terrified that I may go into AF while off it. Has anyone had to go off their anticoagulant for surgery and had AF without it causing a stroke?

Anticoagulant for AF
My doctor has prescribed an anticoagulant (
Eliquis
) but I'm scared of taking it because of the side effects. I had two bleeding episodes in the past plus I have chronic kidney disease, two conditions mentioned on the
Eliquis
site that may be contraindicated.
