urethral constriction
Had chemo and then
cystectomy
10 years ago. Last few years, kidney stones then UTIs, until lithotripsy for the stones. But have urethral constriction, so every 4 month I have stents put through my stoma. Has anyone heard of, or had the procedure done for the constriction using Optilume?

No period after endo excision
Hi, I had a
cystectomy
in 2018 to remove a large cyst from right ovary. Surgeon advised no endometriosis as this was a concern due to family history. Fast forward to 2023, severe pain again. Send for scans, further large cysts were found again in my right ovary.

BC Update with GP.
With regards to the
Cystectomy
(Bladder removal) she said that now would only be an option if it spread into my bladder muscle. She is even sending me for a back X ray even though I have had a bad back for a long while, to eliminate that being a BC Symptom. She think's it worsening spondylitis.

It will be four weeks on Monday since my radical
cystectomy
. I was back home after five days! unfortunately back in hospital 4 days later as an emergency. Back home a week later and all is well. I have fully accepted and adapted to my new life and am working slowly at my recovery.

Updates on my father
My father was scheduled for a simple robotic prostatectomy which turned in a partial
cystectomy
.. The surgeon found a well oval encapsulated mass in the bladder in the size of 14 cm which he removed it .

Going in for a radical Cystectomy, stopping Biologic.
So on Monday I'll be undergoing a Radical
Cystectomy
. I'm OK and positive with the outlook of living without a bladder and lots of other bits .

Update on Nuclear Scan and where I am at now.
The Operation I don't want is Radical
Cystectomy
- The alternative is "treatment plans involving chemotherapy and radiation therapy after TURBT- A TURBT is a cystoscopy but they take away anything that is there. That is containment not a cure but I would be happy with that.

post-op incisions
Hi everyone, I had surgery (ovarian
cystectomy
& excision of endometriosis) on 18/02/24 One of my wounds seems to be open. I feel ‘fobbed off’ by doctors who state it will close on its own. Did anyone else’s incisions look like this? Did they heal okay?

Looking for a Surgeon with Specific Skills
I’ve had multiple rounds of BCG, and I’m now heading towards a radical
cystectomy
. My urologist is nervous about the risk of damage to the rectum, because the prostate is “sticky” after the brachytherapy.

Had my lap today.
My bilateral
cystectomy
went really well. I had three rods put in and my ovarian cysts were pulled out through my belly button (lol ewww). Had endometrial ablation and mirena. Turns out I was absolutely riddled with endo but strangely my bowel lesions were minor.
