DVT with intravenous AB
On Friday, I had a PICC line inserted into my right arm to administer
Ceftazidime
ABs every 24 hours by Hospital at Home nurses. My hand hurt from the moment the line was inserted and by Tuesday, I was experiencing numbness and pins and needles.

Desperate Update
Pharmacist would not prescribe
ceftazidime
on news saying there was no proof it was effective as treatment nebulised. Would not support me to give home iv. Last chance was for GP to support with IV however understandably they feel they can not help at this time.

WHAT A DAY!
He said my sputum didn’t look good and I told him that was very good for me and that I am cautiously giving the
ceftazidime
a neb again and that so far no adverse reaction.

PCD Adult Service in Cumbria?
As soon as he stopped he is having a dificult time since 30th of december: 4 different antibiotics amoxycilin, Doxycicline, and after founding pseudomonas in sputum took Ciprofloxacin and afterwards
Ceftazidime
IV, for 2 weeks, which he had to wait about 10 days to be organized.

Terrible Ignorance
Some of you know that I am back nebulising
ceftazidime
again for my bronchiectasis. It is almost impossible to find outside the hospital. Tesco at Stratford have managed to get it before and I have a good relationship with the pharmacist so took the script there.
