Breastfeeding
Hello, I am currently in week 3 of postpartum and I would like to try
breastfeeding
again. What are peoples thoughts on this, is it a good idea and would it be best to carry on formula feeding as well as introducing
breastfeeding
?

FET while/soon after breastfeeding?
Currently I'm still
breastfeeding
twice a day, my periods haven't returned, and I'm wondering whether I'll need to stop
breastfeeding
, and possibly also wait for periods to hopefully return (I'm 44) before going for a FET?

Breastfeeding Journey
My baby is 9 weeks old and I have been
breastfeeding
for the last 4 weeks with bottle top ups as she had issues with a Tongue-tie so was formula / breastmilk fed from birth. She will now feed from me but only using a nipple shield.

Pregnant for 2nd time post PP considering breastfeeding this time…any advice?
I’d be really grateful for any advice or shared experiences of
breastfeeding
with a history of pp. I am honestly not entirely sure how to approach the nights with or without
breastfeeding
while trying to get sleep so I stay well.

breastfeeding tips
hi all, with my last kids I didn’t have a very successful journey of
breastfeeding
, due to blocked milk ducts and other things, that got in the way of limiting milk supply.

Both of us can find no evidence that says that Liothyronine is unsafe in pregnancy or whilst
breastfeeding
. She wishes to breast feed and has been told no Liothyronine until she stops
breastfeeding

Guilt over choosing to have another baby
We welcomed our little boy in 2022 and I was well until there were changes in
breastfeeding
again. I had manic symptoms when my little boy started solids at 6 months but symptoms were managed with medication.

Olanzapine/other antipsychotics during pregnancy
Especially those who didn't breastfeed to pass Olanzapine through the breast milk and those who eventually stopped
breastfeeding
- after you stopped
breastfeeding
were there withdrawals of any kind? I want another baby and am wondering if I could do this whilst still on Olanzapine.

breastfeeding
my 6 month old. I’ve suffered with sensitive boobs and nipples in my last pregnancy and I’m suffering now too. He keeps whipping off which doesn’t help 🤣 any advice on how I can relieve some of the pain? TUA x

Stopping Breastfeeding
HiI have a nearly 22mth old and I'm looking to stop
breastfeeding
. I am struggling with this as she knows what she wants when she wants it. She will tug on my top and ask for "booboo". We have struggled with bottle feeding. We have tried distractions.

Breastfeeding on Cosopt preservative free eyedrops
Hello, I have been back and forth with my eye consultant the last few weeks. I am now 38 weeks pregnant and they have switched me to cosopt eyedrops preservative free twice a day. I had laser eye surgery which they were hoping would bring my pressures down for 4-6months with no medication but this hasn't

Hello I have recently been pregnant and I am now
breastfeeding
my third child. I used to drink too much alcohol but I don't anymore. For some time now I have had a rash, in the face mostly. is it a spider nevi?

Advice not to have milk
If you are pregnant or
breastfeeding
your body thinks to produce milk, but if you introduce milk it thinks oh I don’t need to behave that way. I’ll be honest I can see the logic but it sounds a bit bonkers to me! Anyone else heard of this?!

Breastfeeding on 5mg of Olanzapine
I breastfed my 2nd child with it for roughly 13 weeks and he is OK but I did stop because I was worried about the medications and
breastfeeding
. Did anyone breastfeed and keep on
breastfeeding
while on Olanzapine for a longer length of time. Last time I was on it for about 18 months.

PGTM after PGTA?
We would probably be better doing a fresh collection and doing PGTM before freezing but I’m still
breastfeeding
so can’t go down this route any time soon. It’s a dominant condition so 50% chance each embryo (and our daughter) has it 😢
