yes I had muscle and bone pain when I started Faslodex and it is common for tumor markers to rise when starting new treatment. It should resolve after a few months.
Hi, Rox,
I've been on Verzenio and Faslodex/Fulvestrant for several years now (bone mets only) after a couple years with Ibrance/exemestane. My CA15-3 has remained in the normal range but the tiredness and joint pain has increased. I asked my onc if these meds had a cumulative effect as these symptoms seem to worsen over time. She said "unfortunately, yes" but this combo seems to be working to I guess that is just the price I'll pay. Hope Faslodex works well for you and for a long time.

I was on letrozole and had the same issue, much improved on fulvestrant! Good luck ! X
I am on letrozole and same issues with the muscle and joints hurting and some days so very stiff. Staying active helps and what I mean by that doing things for me around the house and keep moving. Sitting still makes it worse, so walking things like that cleaning house. Simple things help alleviate the aches and pains.
