I have been on various kinds of chemo since about October 2017. I am presently on Xeloda, this is my 7th cycle I believe. On my 4th cycle I got sick. They gave me a two week rest, with a reduced dosage. I feel much better. It is hard dear libracy2019, but keep on keeping on. Do research, there are more new things to look at. Your new oncologist hopefully will give some new insight. Every day is a new day. Give yourself a hug (smile).

I have had two rounds of chemo, Abraxane and it isn’t as bad as I expected. I took Letrozole and Ibrance for two years before that. I was diagnosed with stage 4 MBC with numerous Mets to bones in December 2017 (found in hip before found in breast). I was 53 then. My oncologist told me there are several other chemo drugs that can be tried if this one stops working. Keep your spirits and good luck with the new oncologist.
