ReQuip and Lyrica
Why can't I take
requip
and Lyrica together? All the doctor tells me is that they don't go together and the pharmacy says the same thing

Hi all, I found that the generic Ropinirole gave me nausea but the commercial
ReQuip

ReQuip

My Labs are back- recommendations pretty please.
Went to sleep MD and he just started with scripting meds….Gabapentin, Pregabalin, Busibar, Doxepin,
Requip
, Lunesta. None of these really worked…
Requip
kinda did but then it did not. So I am currently taking a Magnesium Complex and 1mg Lunesta.

Ropinerol withdrawal.... what now?
So after 15 years I'm off
Requip
. I'm now 4 days in with zero meds for RLS. A few contradictions of how long it takes to fully leave your system, however, I was hoping that my RLS would magically disappear along with my meds. Unfortunately, thats not been the case.

Restless Leg Syndrome and Mirapex
After trying natural remedies with no success, I went to a doctor about my RLS and was prescribed a medicine called
Requip
. I took
Requip
for several years, but it made be sick. My doctor at the time said, it shouldn’t make me sick.

Getting Desperate!
I have no doubt that the
Requip
has completely stopped working and is now intensifying the RLS. I am having symptoms as early as noon most days. One day in particular I decided to take
Requip
at 3 pm which I had never done and I was shocked at the symptoms.

Requip and Collagen
I have been taking
Requip
for several years and started taking Collagen last year as I had come off HRTand my hair and nails were in a terrible condition. I seem to remember seeing that taking both was not advised, is that correct? I have gone back on HRT but it has not made any difference.

RLS Requip (the devil med) and then Gabapentin(my savior)
I was on
Requip
for years always inching up in the dose as I went. It really didn’t stop the pain or movements. Then I had a blast of some kind of mental dysfunction and I began to gamble. I gambled away $200,000.00 of my retirement money. I also acted different. More than one person told me that.

repairing dopamine receptors
Off
requip
now for a couple of months after 20+ years and on gabapentin 700mg. Wondering now about "repairing dopamine receptors"? Can someone point me in the direction of info on this? What is the effect of "un-repaired dopamine receptors"? Thanks!!

Rotigotine Patches
He's told me to stay on my 4mg
Requip
(Ropinerol) because of the severity of my condition. He stated that he dislikes the term RLS as it seems to downplay the condition and wrote Willis Ekbom disease which is encouraging. He's requested a FBC.

magnesium type and dosage
I did take
requip
, but my insurance no longer covers it. I am new to these sites. I am so thankful for a place to discuss this terrible condition. I recently read that magnesium helps. I started taking it at night and it had helped immensely.

Need clarification please
As I reduce my
Requip
dosage, and continue my OTC meds which seem to be helping, could I stabilize enough to tolerate infrequent breakthroughs at the lower dose? Or do I need to continue to reduce dosage until I am off
Requip
completely? Thanks for advice and feedback.

Tizanidine
I don't think it is part of the augmentation issue for me (but want to make sure) and wondered if a higher dose might help me get through my withdrawal from
Requip
.

Histamines and RLS
I had to go off
Requip
after about 30 years. With gabapentin and Tramadol ,that was possible. But I recently saw a post on this site that mentioned a connection between RLS and histamines. My Dr. wanted me off alcohol coffee,chocolate...they are on the histamine list.

Tapering off pramexole
Got
requip
for Periodic Limb Movement Disorder. I had some very mild RLS during the day, but that wasn't a problem. The
requip
didn't work. Well, it did stop the symptoms but I had really bad heart palpitations and called the doctor after three nights and he said to stop it so I did.
