low ferritin/T3 capsules
My
ferritin
test
result is 24 (10-300) Nice guidelines say under 30 can have iron infusion? Should I push for that? I picked up my T3 prescription and was planning on splitting them but they are 10mcg capsules.Roma is the brand.

Iron & PLMD
My
ferritin
test
from about a month ago was 200ug/l & had previously been about 250ug/l. I did start regular b12 jabs around the time of the 250
test
,so that might account for the
ferritin
drop (making new red blood cells etc..)

Ferritin Levels/Hair Loss/Thyroid
So I was told to have a
ferritin
test
and take vitamin D, I also take B12. Thinking that it would be low hence the hair loss, it is in actual fact completely the opposite, but I can't get the doctor to tell me what this might mean, I was just told, repeat the test in 6 weeks.

Taking Biotin prior to full Blood count
I always stop B complex when I have Advanced Thyroid (via medichecks) my recent
test
shows low
ferritin
and a higher inflammation I wonder if this could be Ulcerative colitis as seems to match symptoms so will go with the screening first as this was offered without my initiation. Many thanks

Had an Iron
Ferritin
test
last year of 103. I am due for a yearly physical with MD on Jan2 and thinking of asking for another iron test. I know y’all are busy with more serious cases but was wondering if you could educate me with your thoughts and opinions. Thank you.

do I need to stop Biotin containing supplements before a Blue Horizon iron status profile test?
I am testing my iron after very low
ferritin
results on a thyroid plus vitamins
test
( I am seeing a Dr at private online clinic from the Thyroid UK list) In the past II had normal/high iron, so before I supplement I want to check all the iron indicators my question is: do I need to stop my b complex

Thanks
I did have the
ferritin
test
every six months for a period before and after the infusions and my latest blood work, including ferritin, was acceptable. It has been a life long effort to balance treatments for my various issues and now it seems age is exacerbating symptoms.

Ferritin Levels
Hello, Recent blood
test
shows
Ferritin
at 118 (30 - 650 ug/L). I'm struggling to understand if that's ok as the range appears to have changed. When it was tested in September 2023 it was 112 but the range was 15-200ug/L. Is the range change significant?

Clarification of blood results
Results: Haemoglobin 128g/L Ferritin 70 ug/L TSats 18% Active B12 44pmol/L Folate 3.2 ug/L I had previously had a
ferritin
test
done by medichecks on 5th June (bit of accidental overlapping of tests) but I did note that medichecks ferritin result was 85.9ug/L which is quite a bit higher than today's

RLS, Augmentation and Finding a Neurologist in the SW of England
I've had to fight once a year just to get this
test
done, my last
ferritin
level was only 37 last October, but I realize I should have been requesting a full iron panel and all of this should have been carried out after fasting, which mone has never been carried out this way.

Blood work
I recently got my blood tested so I could check for ferritin levels and my
ferritin
was at 329. I had gotten my blood
test
a year ago when I first saw the doctor for RLS but they’d didn't
test
ferritin
levels at that time.

Ferritin results
Hi, I had my blood
test
results back today and my serum
ferritin

Really lost - doctor advised me to stop injecting and now B12 keeps going down
My doctor ordered another
test
for me next month....for
ferritin
and CMP. She has no plans to retest my B12 even though it seems logical to assume that it will just keep going down!
