12 year old boy still having night time accidents
He’s embarrassed about it as he’s getting older and I’m starting to worry that there’s an issue and he’ll never get off
desmopressin
! any advice? He doesn’t have any other medical problems apart from asthma and is a really bright, active boy.

Desmopressin stopped working
I wondered if he might need stronger
desmopressin
(currently on 240) but his next appointment with the pediatrician isn't until June, so I'm hoping others might have suggestions?

School Residential Trip
We have tried bio feedback, bedwetting alarms,
desmopressin
, tolterodine and numerous incentives an charts. He is currently using oxybutynin, which helps a little bit. What is really worrying us is that he has a school residential in May.

Medication mixes
My 9 yr old son has been on the highest dose of
Desmopressin
for a year, and movicol and docusate sodium. We recently changed to both Pico sulfate, and Laxido, and he is now wetting almost every night. Does anyone know if it will be the new medication conflicting with the Desmo melts? Many thanks.

Anger and behavioural issues
On 1-2 sachets of movicol daily, picosulpate 10mls a day,
Desmopressin
250mg for night time wetting. Generally clean at school, only happens at home or relatives houses. It is hugely adversely affecting his behaviour, we have huge bouts of anger and physical outbursts to deal with.

Upped my dose and
I am hoping that he will prescribe me
Desmopressin
today, I am really not sleeping as I am up 3/4times per night and my mouth is as dry as a dry thing all night. I guess he'll want to investigate but I want some relief in the short term.

Desmopressin
My 6 year old son is currently on
Desmopressin
moved from 120mg to 240mg. Anyone else’s child on or have had Desmo in the past? Would love to hear how you got on with it. My son has been taking them for about 6 weeks now and only ever had 2 dry nights. Thanks

Dealing with lying
For nighttime he has been prescribed
Desmopressin
which has helped, plus we have a bed wetting alarm. To be honest, being a boy, his winky often misses the sensor! Our main problem is during the day. He’s in year 2 and I honestly thought we’d have cracked it by now.

Is bowel pressure causing urine leakage?
I do get relief at night by taking
desmopressin
to reduce the urine volume, so I may only wee once a night instead of three times. Does this sound like a bowel prolapse problem?

What happens when desmopressin wears off after the 8 hours?
Question about
desmopressin
. My 6 year old just started and has had it twice but still wet in the morning. He has started on one melt. He has been dry when I check through the night before I go to bed, which is an improvement on before.

7 year old never had a dry night
We have had him on
desmopressin
, gone through the school nurse and religiously followed her advice and suggestions and we have tried an alarm (which he hated and was scared of). He is a very deep sleeper and nothing wakes him!

Bedwetting in 8 yr old. Desmopressin and bed alarm not helping
He has his last drink generally with his dinner, defo not after 7pm and
desmopressin
at 9pm. It's definitely just a bedwetting issue, our daughter has chronic kidney disease and has bladder problems associated with that and he doesn't have any of those it's just wetting the bed.

Use of Desmopressin
I our doctor has now suggested
Desmopressin
at the lowest dose for starters. I’m not good at giving my children even Calpol at the best of times so part of me is reluctant to try this medication but I’m conscious of wanting to try something else to help.
