Has anyone here had the experience of taking meds for ADHD while trying to keep blood pressure under control?
Hi, I'm new here and recently diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive type). I'm almost 40 and never took any stimulants. I also suffer from anxiety and depression and have high blood pressure (which I think is related to my anxiety). I've been taking Sertraline for depression and Hydrochlorothiazide for hypertension

SPIRONOLACTONE 25 MG TABLET
Can anyone please tell me if spironolactone interferes with RLS? If so, are there any other b/p meds that can be a good substitute? I'm already taking HCTZ and lisinopril.

Warning Signs Before My Cardiac Arrests
Hi -- after I posted the description of my 4 cardiac arrests, a couple people asked for more details, like what early symptoms or warnings I had. So here goes. In the year before my cardiac arrests in July of 2018 I was awoken 4 times with breathing difficulties. I simply couldn't catch my breath

Hydrochlorothiazide side effects
Interesting article since many people are prescribed blood pressure medications and drugs that have HCTZ included in them. https://www.peoplespharmacy.com/articles/hydrochlorothiazide-hctz-side-effects-complications-and-gout

Is it bad for you to just wait out an Afib spisode.
Over the last month I went into Afib 6+ times. The first one lasted about 12 hours. The next 3 I ended up in emergency and they had to cardiovert me. The 5th time lasted 24 hours. The 6th time, however, lasted 5 days. But I was so fed up with sitting in emergency for 12 hours and getting my chest blasted

meds and Angio
Hello I’ve recently had an Nstemi. Had an angiogram where there was no blockage, so just treat with medication. Bisoprolol is making me feel washed out, but I’ve had a problem with my wrist -pulsating and buzzing. Cardiologist booked me for in for an ultrasound where they found I got an AV fistula

Sotalol
My newly found Consultant Cardiologist has prescribed me two new drugs. Sotalol and Flecainide. In respect of the Sotalol he prescribed .... " one tablet twice a day". My tablets are 40mg dose. This replaces Bisoprolol and Nebivolol that I have taken at different times in past years gone by. Anyone

Enemas for constipation
I am taking flecainide and bisoprolol for my afib. The medication is doing fine but I’ve got what I believe to be Pelvic Floor dysfunction. Basically one of my rectum muscles (at exit) is contracting when it should be relaxing. I’ve got biofeedback physio on Monday but wanted to know if anyone has experience

I’m still here
Hello Good People Been a while since I’ve been on but as I saw my consultant yesterday I thought I’d give an update. The valve is working perfectly he said but I’ve had problems with horrendous leg ache and weight gain despite exercising and dieting. After researching the drugs I’m on, he agreed for

I don't know if this is the right place to day this however i've been on bisoprolol for a month I haven't gotten a prescription for another yet due to problems and i'm on my last one and i'm worried.
