I had a PSMA scan that found 3 small spots. My MO and Radiation O decided to radiate the spots without ADT. PSA is 0.28

Trying to make sense of things
Can anyone explain why some people have Gleason 8 PC, high PSA and have metastatic disease, yet some with Gleason 9 and 10 have low-ish PSA (as far as PC goes) and no obvious metastatic disease (confirmed by PSMA)? I am trying to understand this damn disease and sometimes there doesn’t seem to be any

Ct scan of abdomen and pelvis and full body bone scan?
Hello, I have been advised to get a ct scan of abdomen and pelvis with and without contrast, along with a full body bone scan prior to my next appointment with my urologist. PSA has been undetectable since completion 9/9/20 of image guided radiation to the prostate bed and lymph nodes with a 6 month

Is pluvicto helping?
I started pluvicto on Jan 24, 2024. I’m on zoladex quarterly as well. I currently feel good compared to when i began pluvicto. My labwork are all normal, no abnormalities. My last scans show reduced mets in lymph nodes but still in bones and no progression. Would you say things are looking good with

Not great news for hubby today. What is next?
Just updated my husband's profile so you can see his journey from 2016. Oncologist today said to continue the Abiraterone for another month and see where we are at with PSA results. Was up again today. He did have 6 rounds of targeted radiation last month, so would that cause PSA to go up. We were hoping

Celebrex and Curcumin and Magnesium.
I recently received a question from a fellow warrior based on a comment I had made on an older post that he had started. The question was what I thought about Naproxen compered to Celebrex and I told him I had very limited experience with Naproxen. I then clicked on older posts about nsaids and prostate

Need more info on related symptoms
On the surface, I seem to be doing very well. Per earlier posts: Gleason 5+4, intraductal, possible perinueral spread, PET scan shows spread to lymph nodes only but as distant as the clavicle. Apparently these clavicle lymph nodes show up very pale on the scan and are too small to biopsy. But, treatment

My experience with Docetaxel
I know everyone doesn’t respond the same but here is my experience and what I went through with 10 rounds of chemo. Before I started I had already been on Lupron for five years, I had radiation to multiple bone Mets, took zytiga/xtandi, had Provenge and did a clinical trial. October 26 2023 I started

What is a Healthy, low sugar shake or supplement to gain weight with prostate cancer spread to lymph nodes?
Husband has advanced prostate cancer mets to neck, chest, back, pelvis, femur. PSA is doubling rapidly. Currently on Zytiga, Lupron, Steroid, and Lyparza. 😞 Diagnosed in 2020 with tumor base of tongue (doctors said it was not related to PC) and aggressive prostate cancer at same time. Today, four years

Anemia on Abiraterone + Prednisone + Lupron
Since November 2023 I have been taking Abiraterone + Prednosone for castrate resistant metastatic prostate cancer. In November my PSA was 0.8. In the first three months it went down to 0.26. Yesterday, my PSA was 0.16. But my hemoglobin and hematocrit became low at 11.6 and 36% respectively.
