pressure sore sci myelopathy

hi

Am not prone to these but I’ve tried a new solid insert in my wheelchair cushion. I think this was too firm because after 6 days I had a small pressure sore on my right sitting bone

I removed the insert and it healed quite quickly after this .

Having seating issues re nhs wheelchair and finding the right cushion and the seat slings on these chairs should last a year but with me 3 months at best .

This is an ongoing issue to find the right cushion also re pelvis and spinal posture ..

I’ve not had pressure sores before

Just some discomfort with sitting nothing major

any feed back would be great

Ex

Personally I have not heard of pressure sores in the sciatica before. A quick look at a website I sometimes reference. Shows this information...healthcentral.com/condition...

Have a look to see if this link applies. If it doesn't not let me know if your doctors have gotten any further with their assistance.
