I can’t afford to take breaks anymore. What’s a good way to ignore stress? I’m trying to exercise more. What else can I do?

how to ignore stress? (M28)
exercise is a good way of relieving stress, walking out in the fresh air.
Get good sleep,
You should take breaks or you will burn out
Also, don’t self medicate with alcohol.
What is causing the stress?
Perhaps you can ignore stress for a little while without much negative effects, but it will build up and cause more issues later on.
If the stress is from something that you can't separate yourself from, like work, family, school, debt, etc., then you can't feasibly avoid it.
You've got to believe that every problem has a solution. But not every solution is easy...some take a lot of time, effort, energy, and sometimes expense to deal with.
I was stuck in a job for years that was causing me terrible stress that took a toll on my health and relationships. (My work relationships at that employer were pretty much ruined. It went from the best place that I worked for 6 years, to the most stressful job I've ever had for 3 years...and the latter 2½ years of that time I was actively applying for work to get out of there. HR was no help, and management was the source of the problems.)
If the stress is from work, you can look for somewhere else to work.
If you're in school, then have you looked at your options? (Schools might have services available to help. Then again, employers sometimes have services available to help with stress and related issues.)
If the problem is family, that can be a lot more difficult to deal with, but it's still possible.

Things that can help manage stress:
• Exercise
• Therapy/counseling
• Mindfulness/meditation
• Journaling
• Social connection (time with friends or family, especially positive or uplifting interactions)
• Time in nature (how much depends on the person...some like hours, but for other people just 20 minutes might be the most at a time that they can benefit from... For me, it depends a lot on the weather)
Name your stress. (Not for us, but for yourself. Clearly identifying the cause of the stress can help get you started on resolving it.)
