Swallowing

Hi,

Does anyone have occasional swallowing problems with Graves? I have an odd pressing sensation at the base of my neck and sometimes my food gets stuck at the back of my throat. I did have swelling but since starting on Carbimazole late December this has come down.

I have emailed the endo and have been told to repeat the thyroid function test - which I hope to do tomorrow - and they can assess. My right eye is also sore and I have reduced vision.

Thanks for any advice.

Sounds like the beginning of a goitre -

I'd talk to you doctor / endo as this likely needs further investigations.

Thank you - it is - I have had a scan and they said everything is ok - in that its what they would expect - some inflamation. I am not getting it so much - my dose is 20 mg one day 10 the next - so quite low.
