Pip award update

Good morning all.As a follow up from my previous post,on Saturday I received the dreaded letter about my pip assessment. I had received a text message 7 working days after the assessment so was not feeling very optimistic. I couldn't bring myself to even open the letter so my daughter read it then handed it to me with a very poker face! Nervously I started to scan it and found they have awarded me enhanced mobility ( I had this prior to being moved from dla to pip, which they lowered to standard so I lost my mobility car). They have also awarded it from when my review papers were received so backdated to March 2023 and its awarded indefinitely with no review until 2034. I am so relieved they accepted my mistake in the measurements, told them metres when I ment feet.

I can't put into words how much this means to me for over a year I have constantly worried and even managed a full 5 hours sleep last night.

Thanks to all who commented on my first post and offered words of support and comfort this really is a fabulous group. Just knowing there are others in a similar situation and that your not on your own make a massive difference.

My friend says wait until the connies are ousted.

But I imagine I'm losing money.. As health wise I'm much worse and mobility scares me.

But it heartened me that you succeed ed yey 😍🤗🤗🤗.

I myself have fibromyalgia, an acoustic neuroma and serious mental health problems ; I am a 52yr old lady . Could I possibly ask if your fibromyalgia has triggered you to suffer from trigeminal neuralgia ? The pain from this , is worse that when I had my two girls . ( No chance to see a doctor 🙄 )

Hi. It's very hard to say if I'm honest. The thing is I have various other health issues including nerve compression follow spinal surgery some years ago, so I already suffer with electric shock type pain. I do have the same in regards to facial pain and numbness also terrible tooth pain which is bazaar because it usually affects the teeth that are false( implants)

My heart is broken 💔 for you , reading of your all your health problems . I honestly cannot fathom why you were so anxious and stressed to the hilt , regarding your PIP result ! Although in saying that , I dare say that I could be decapitated and I would STILL be petrified 😲🤣 ! Do please take care x
