heavy period after first lap ??????????????

is it common to have a really heavy period after your first lap i no we all suffer with them anyway but this is more than heavy ive gone through 10 towels today and feel drained more than usual wonder if if common or worth a trip back to the gp 2moro

Hi hon. Yes this does happen. I had my 4th lap n lazer of endo and adhesions. I got my af just after that n it was v sore and heavy I ended up in hosp. And my next period was the same. Remember they have been in poking about. So youl be sore. I always use maternity pads x

oh thank you i bled for a couple of days after the lap but this is my first propper period after at its worse than i could ever imagine bloody endometriosis

Hi, yes - I had this too after my diagnostic lap. Very heavy bleeding first period after!x

I've had super heavy periods after all my laps. It is normal to an extent but if you feel worried call your doc or the hosp. It might give you some peace of mind if anything!xx

My first after lap started this morning - so far not good, but at least if its awful over the weekend I know its not just me!

mine started yesterday im waiting on a call back from gp as im taking my ainkillers but vomiting so they are coming back up i have no energy at all and feel so weak just think its due to the ammount of blood ive lost but better to be safe thank you all
