Is Breakthrough bleeding normal with Continuous birth control?

After emergency lap 6 months ago to remove 8cm endometrioma, birth control was the only option for pain relief (Norcross did nothing)...

I’m experiencing heavy breakthrough bleeding for the first time in three months since going on a continuous progesterone-only birth control. This is unusual since I was pain free and had no symptoms until like last weeks- fever, chills, pain on right and left side of uterus, clots and now continuous bleeding that seems to be getting heavier. Should I be concerned? Is this normal? I’ll be calling my Endo Specialist today, but thought someone might’ve been through this. Thanks for reading.

I have the same exact thing!! Did you get any answers? I don't want to bother my specialist but I am starting to grow concerned.

I might headed to my specialist in a couple weeks to get a check up and see if we need to Up the dosage or try another pain management route. I’ve been researching this topic and it’s pretty common to backslide and need to try new methods. One lady’s solution was 3 laps per year! I nearly lost it... that’s when I was like time to call the doctor!
