I was recently given a new inhaler to take along with Dulera,Ventolin, and singular - it is called Inspiolto Respimat.I was wondering if that means my asthma is getting worse? The new puffer is for COPD, but I don't have that.

Have you asked your healthcare provider why you have the new inhaler? They are the only ones who can give a definitive answer. If you have a lot of springtime allergies, it may be that they are trying to prevent any exacerbation of your asthma before it starts, rather than waiting until you start struggling, when a new inhaler is going to take a few weeks to have a real impact. (I find winter very hard as damp/mist/fog are big triggers for me, and my asthma nurse started me on my winter inhaler in about July to make sure my asthma was as well controlled as possible before the poorer weather started) But you wont' know the reason unless you ask them.

hey! I’ve had that inhaler and I’m now on a different one but still an COPD one. I do not have COPD either but the chest consultant explained that some inhalers can be used for both. Hope you’re okay! X

I have been put on this one as well as My Fostair 200/6 and Montelukast, it has virtually stopped me coughing and my breathing is easier, but I have only been on it for just over a week x
