Wockhardt levothyroxine
Hi I just read on another site anyone over the age of 50 shouldn't take
Wockhardt
brand of
levothyroxine
. Surely this can't be true. I've been taking 50/75 mcgs of this brand for 9 months as I've reacted badly to other brands

Wockhardt supply issue?
Is anyone aware of a supply issue in UK of
Wockhardt
Levothyroxine
? I was unable to fulfil my usual prescription in England last week, and have faced the same problem attempting to get it instead in Wales this week, with only Teva or Accord offered.

Cost of Wockhardt levothyroxine
Just been informed that Wockhardt costs the pharmacy an extra £1 a box, so if I want them to order it in for me I will have to pay the extra cost. The alternative is Teva which quite clearly has the thyroxine market all sewn up 😡.I am willing to pay the extra to get the brand I need however it is the

anyone else find they get constipation on Accord? Might be total coincidence but I’m now on accord and constipated - after being fine on Wockhardt.

wockhardt levothyroxine
Hi all,I've been taking
Wockhardt
levothyroxine
for almost 2 years but recently I've changed it to Accord as my pharmacy; a) see no difference in brands 🙈 b) despite putting notes on their system, sometimes they just ignore/miss it. c) can't get a hold of the brand, I went on long holidays 3 weeks

Is anyone still having difficulty getting Wockhardt Levothyroxine?
As I glumly predicted, following allergic reactions to several brands of levothyroxine, my GP has flat out refused to reissue a prescription for Brillpharma liquid levothyroxine. Cost. To get it installed as a regular prescription will require me going back to the hospital allergy department and making

Urgent help with results please
I posted last week about feeling terrible on T3. Exhausted and aching all over. I’ve just had my second lot of results back. The top pic are the most recent ones and the one before that were the results when I’d started on a lower dose of T3. I’ve now dropped my levo from 175 to 150 and taking 10mcg

Confused by 'levothyroxine replaces; it doesn't top up'
Hello all, I have Hashimoto's, and take 100mg of Levothyroxine. I've just ordered a bloodtest from BlueHorizon, as I'm wracked with fatigue again. Before I get the results, I was hoping for some clarificiation on the fact I've seen stated in some posts about Levothyroxine being a replacement, not

Thoughts on T3 dosing please.
I take T4, alternating days with 100 and 125ug. Also T3 15ug each day. All in one go at 5am (I set an alarm). I know you guys have said consistency is key with T3, because it has a short half life. However quartering the tablets to get 15ug (3/4 of a tablet) is awkward. So I was thinking, cogitating

More test results to understand
I have now seen an endocrinologist and had another set of tests. My TSH is not measurable at < 0.02, my FT4 is within range at 20.9 (11-22.7) and my FT3 is 5.9 (3.5 -6.5), much higher than it has ever been before. My previous results on 15/04 were TSH 0.02, FT4 23.6 (12-22), FT3 4.7 (3.1-6.8). These

Levothyroxine
Hi I'm on levothyroxine. I don't know If this medication is causing me to feel sick all the time? I rang doctors last week and the receptionist said my thyroid is now normal. I've had no follow up since being diagnosed in march

Lio/Levo testing protocol advice
On the advice of my (private) endo, I am currently trialling 15 mcg Lio (in 3 doses: 8 am, 1 pm and 6pm) and 75 mcg Levo 11.30 pm, and I need to re-test in a few weeks. I am wondering about the testing protocol, as if I test by 9 am, this dosing regime is the opposite of what’s usually recommended when

Generic Tirosint - Levothyroxine Sodium capsules USP made by Lannett - has anyone in the UK managed to obtain this medicine?
I would like to try Tirosint - to combine it with a trial of Liothyronine - I believe Tirosint is available from Roseway Labs on private prescription. But it's very expensive. I had heard that there was a generic version made in the US by Lannett Company Inc. Does anyone have any information about
