Very anxious - any tips
Hi there (sorry for long post) I wasn't going to post but I am really struggling with my anxiety and hoped maybe there may be people here who understand and can offer any tips? I have been TTC for 5 years, been through multiple IVF cycles and had 2 miscarriages and second trimester loss due to chromosomal

Returning to work from maternity leave
I’ve just had the most wonderful year off with my beautiful baby girl, and today the inevitable has happened, I have to return to work. I am so upset I can’t put it into words. It was a journey to get her to start with, we had IVF and so she is just the most precious thing in our lives. Her Daddy has

bad news at early viability scan - do I keep taking IVF meds?
I had my early viability scan yesterday following FET on 7/5. I should have been 7w4d but the nurse who did the scan was only able to measure the embryo at 6w2d. She was also unable to find a heartbeat and said that the pregnancy was not going to continue. I’m booked in for a confirmation scan with

follicle growth - too fast and game over?
hi all! I’m in my 2nd ivf stim cycle and at day 8 of the cycle I had my scan - 2 follicles are already at 18-18.8mm with others following at 12-14mm. The clinic reduced my dosage to 300 and told me to start the antagonist (orgalutran) today.. I’m really worried by the time I trigger they will be too

Autoimmune issues and IVF - a question
Hi all, I'll be having my first FET in a few weeks time, and something has been bugging me for a while. I suffer from a few autoimmune issues - I have psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis and also elevated thyroid antibodies (sidenote: my thyroid is otherwise under control with levothyroxine). Generally my

Chemical pregnancy?
Hi all, I’m hoping for some advice. We have just gone through our second round of IVF (after an unsuccessful round last year). OTD was today (11dp5dt), but I started testing last week at 7dp5dt and have little to no line progression, so feeling really worried it’s a chemical pregnancy. Can’t call clinic

Hayfever medication ahead of stimulation round-worried!
Hi all, Hoping someone can help me calm a little ahead of our next IVF round. My husband and I will be starting ICSI round 2 in a couple of weeks. We've avoided all unnecessary medication in the lead up but on Thursday night last week we were both really suffering with hayfever and took half a piriton

Exercise after embryo transfer/in pregnancy?
Hi, I'm about to start my first frozen transfer cycle after a freeze all collection a few months ago. In the last year I've been doing an aerial hoop class once a week and it's been so good for my mental health (and fitness too). I had always planned that if I got pregnant I would just stop going, however

Decreased symptoms.
Heads going into over drive. I had a viability scan last Tuesday at the ivf clinic. Baby was fine. Yesterday I noticed my symptoms had decreased. And then today they are basically gone. I'm 8w 2d. Is it normal for symptoms to just become less? I thought it may be the placenta taking over, but surely

*Trigger warning* pregnancy and dealing with infertility-related PTSD
It's taken me a long time to decide to post this here. After 3 years of IVF and 4 failed transfers, 1 chemical pregnancy and 2 egg collections, I'm finally pregnant with my little boy (22 weeks tomorrow). I feel so grateful to be here, but I'm still struggling with the psychological impacts of IVF. I'm

antihistamines during ivf & vitamins
hi everyone My hayfever has hit with a vengeance. I’ve tried to stay away from any medication but it’s extreme this year. I’ve heard conflicting advice on whether it’s safe or not safe to take during stims/egg collection etc also any tips on the best prenatal. I’ve been taking wild nutrition but

help and support with ICSI
hi all due to start ivf/ICSI meds in the coming week. Been with my partner 8 years and been waiting to start IVF for over two years. I’m looking forward to starting a family hopefully but I am absolutely petrified of medical interventions so I’m looking for answers to what will the hormone injections

Tests results: MTHFR mutation
Hey, hope everyone is doing well. So just as a bit of background I'm prepping for my third and final IVF cycle next month. After my second cycle failed my consultant recommended a heap of tests to just "cross the ts" and it's taken ages for all the genetic tests to come back. In that time the tests
