Reaction to Taxol (Paclitaxel) and alternatives?
I will be switched to
taxotere
for my next treatment. Wondering if anyone else has had a reaction to taxol and then received
taxotere
. I am nervous about having a reaction to
taxotere
as well and then not being able to get the full treatment plan.

Pluvicto Question
Six months of
Taxotere
failed miserably. After 8 rounds, I was done. After chemo, my second PSMA-PET showed additional bone mets and a spread to the lymph nodes. My MO told me I was a good candidate for Pluvicto, so, three months after finishing
Taxotere
, I started that therapy.

Well, three years in…..
it’s be nice if i didn’t need a walker at the end of this. even nicer if i wasn’t dead.
taxotere
isn’t much fun, but i seem to be handling it better than other people who are doing this path.

Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
The urologist says Nubeqa (darolutamide) is only for use with the chemo
Taxotere
(docetaxel), which would be in triplet therapy with an ADT. I see some people are using Nubeqa with Orgovyx, but cannot find anything official on it. Nubeqa is always mentioned with
Taxotere

First treatment of Taxotere
My husband is going to have his first chemo treatment of
Taxotere
in about a week. He has ben fighting metastatic stage 4 prostate cancer for five years. Thankfully it has stayed in the bones and not spread to any organs.

Age and timing for Triplet therapy?
I have read that the addition of chemo
Taxotere
for Triplet therapy would be beneficial, but can have severe side effects in the elderly, and also must be started with or soon after ADT. Am I likely too old to tolerate the chemo
Taxotere
, and have I missed the window for starting it?

Starting Chemo again, Cabazitaxel Has anybody experienced any side effects that have been unusually bad?
The first round of Chemo was with
Taxotere
and now My Cancer has become castrate resistant. PSA is now no longer a good indicator for disease progression. I'm not looking forward to doing this but it's what has to be done.

Hello everyone, breif update
It's been over a year since my last scan which showed improvement from
Taxotere
and Orgovyx. I was doing well low T <10 and PSA .02. I had a lady friend come visit and took a 40 day break from the Orgovyx. I retested the day she left and my T jumped up to 502 and my PSA jumped up to .312.

promising delivery technique for cancer drugs
The NPs exhibited improved pharmacokinetic properties (9.5-fold longer terminal half-life, vs. free docetaxel) and anti-tumor efficacy comparable to
Taxotere
with negligible systemic toxicity, suggesting zein/CS NPs could be a promising nanoplatform for targeted cancer therapy.

Vitamin E for hot flashes?
My husband has had 6 rounds of
Taxotere
and is taking Nubeqa and Orgovyx. Is it safe for him to take Vitamin E for hot flashes?

PC no longer castrate resistant
My question then is do I go with what my doc recommends (either
Taxotere
chemo or a new phase 1b clinical trial with combo drugs JNJ-78278343 and cetrelimab)?

chemo pain advice
Hi everyone- my husband had is first infusion of
Taxotere
last Thursday and it’s been really rough on him. He had steroids and as soon as those wore off the pain started. He’s on triplet therapy. Stage 4 with Mets. First he had hiccups for 36-48 straight and now getting on and off.

PALB2 genetic defect-Lynparza
Just completed six cycles of
Taxotere
as part of triple therapy (chemo, Nubeqa and ADT) for about 20 Mets (PSMA scan) mostly skeletal (no organs). Only four Mets still lit up on PSMA scan after four cycles of chemo/Lupron/Nubeqa. Next PSMA scan in Jan. 2024.

PLUVICTO
Note: I was diagnosed in September 2014 and I have had
taxotere
6 rounds, Xtandi 2 years, Keytruda 19 rounds and 12 rounds of
taxotere
prior to Pluvicto. I know many of you have suffered and been through a lot worse than I could imagine. I know I have had a good run.

Liver detox after chemo?
I am starting
Taxotere
next week and received some advice from a friend fighting serious colon cancer. He told me how he detoxed his liver after each cycle. He used TUDCA Bile salts and PectaSol from ECONugenics Company. https://econugenics.com/collections/pectasol?

Taxotere causing horrible neuropathy on just the 3rd day.
I had my first infusion last Thursday and starting yesterday I've had a severe worsening of my existing neuropathy. I can barely walk. I'm experiencing a wide variety of nerve pains from my waist downward. From nearly total numbness in my toes and feet to rippling pain coursing down from my hips. Sometimes

After 2 Nuclear Ligand treatments should I still have severe bone pain in my lower back?
He opted out of taking chemo as one of his biopsies (108 page report from Germany) revealed the normal protocol of
taxotere
would not be effective against his cancer.
