The problem with Buprenorphine, BTBD9 and serotonin syndrome
My GP found one remedy that didn’t contain the dreaded sorbitol like all the others: Galen
Salivix
spray. All this is very tricky. I have tried every remedy under the sun and there is almost nothing left that I tolerate in one way or another.

Does the horrendous dry mouth ever go away with Elvanse - Lisdexamfetamine ??
Hello, I'm another very late diagnosed adult with both ASD & combined ADHD. Following my recent ADHD diagnosis I had hope that my life could improve with medication, however I've been on Lisdexamfetamine (Elvanse) two months now and the dry mouth, and lips are unbearable, I developed tongue sucking

Sativex in the UK?
I’ve been looking in to cannabis for help with spasticity and neuropathy pain. I came across Sativex and saw that it was approved in the UK for MS and was wondering if any of my fellow AMNers in the UK have tried it before?

What exceptional GP care looks like
She then prescribed me hyloforte drops which she thinks are better than the ones I currently use and a saliva spray but says if I don't like it go back to her and I can try
salivix
pastilles. She emphasised the importance of making it a habit to put drops in my eyes regularly etc. 5.

Medication for Symptoms not Diagnosis?
Hi wondering if anyone can help please? Has anyone been prescribed Sativex or nabilone for symptoms of MS without a diagnosis? I take morphine and it no longer seems effective Plus GP wants me off it, I don’t want pain patches again and the above meds are too expensive privately. I have spasticity muscle

Cannabinoids for MS & Seizures - FYI
Cannabinoids Two compounds that occur naturally in the marijuana plant, Cannabis sativa, are being used in medicine today. One is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which causes changes in brain function, perception, and mood (the "high" associated with the drug). The other is cannabidiol (CBD), which

Anyone suffer dry/burning mouth particularly interested if you take Xeljanz.
This started about March with dry mouth before extending to burning mouth over the past 6 weeks. It effects all my mouth including tongue, gums and throat. I'm also getting ulcers on both sides of my tongue. When it's bad it makes my whole head hurt and my tongue and throat feel swollen. Eating offers

Who can be prescribed medical cannabis
Medical cannabis (and cannabis oils) "Medical cannabis" is a broad term for any sort of cannabis-based medicine used to relieve symptoms. Many cannabis-based products are available to buy online, but their quality and content is not known. They may be illegal and potentially dangerous. Some products

ASH 2019: A Clinical Trial of Cannabis As Targeted Therapy for Indolent Leukemic Lymphoma
"Conclusion : This study demonstrates that it is safe to administrate a single dose of Sativex to elderly patients with indolent B-cell lymphoma with regards to adverse events. We show that the cannabis compound quickly reduces lymphoma cell numbers in peripheral blood. There was no evidence of activation

Necessity or nastiness? The hidden law denying cannabis for medicinal use December 13, 2010 The last government had a peculiarly Stalinist approach to public wellbeing. It created over 1200 new laws, a record number for any government, many of which reflect a naïve belief that these would change public

Burning mouth syndrome?
Hi everyone So recently I had been feeling less pain. Still couldn't jog around the park or anything and still tired most days, but been able to get out of bed in the morning, no real stiffness, even been able to excercise without a backlash💃 Actually felt almost normal. No clue why the sudden change

Medical Marijuana
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/medical-cannabis/ I was back home in the UK recently, popped over to France (with it's notoriously strict drug laws), have to say that in France, I have never seen quite so many people smoking dope, openly, in public, in view of the police. Back to East London. As usual
