Teriparatide
Now, of course, I’m scared of which to choose from: denosumab, zoledronic acid, or
romosozumab
. Which will have the mildest side effects? I tend to always get the common side effects of any medication…….

Hi, to any one with Osteoporosis whose been advised to take the Evenity (

Evenity Treatment for Osteoporosis
I have been given the opportunity to use Evenity (
romosozumab
) Injection, which has been offered to me as I have severe Osteoporosis due to being on Steroids for PMR. I will be receiving my first set of medication after Easter. I have had PMR since early 2021.

Because my scan result is very severe for my spine my consultant wants me to take Evenity,
Romosozumab
injections for a year then go onto a bisphosphonate for 5 years. Evenity was only passed by N.I.C.E in the Uk in may this year.

Question on treatment options (long)
Also to start denosumab, such as prolia or
romosozumab
such as evenity. Both have serious side effects and I am not one to take drugs unless I absorb have to. Am looking for experiences from those who have dealt with this before I make my decision. Thanks for any feedback.

Vertebral fractures and starting zoledronic acid
Also, does anyone know much about
Romosozumab
? I know it is only available privately but the fact that it can heal as well as prevent further deterioration is very appealing. I am starting to feel like an invalid (I am 49) and pretty miserable. I am taking plenty of calcium and vitamin D.

ROMOSOZUMAB
Hi, Are any members having treatment with
Romosozumab
? I am interested to hear from anyone who has experience of being treated with it. At present it is only available privately in the UK but I have been told that it is hoped to be available on the NHS by the end of this year.

Just started romosozumab on Wednesday.
It’s 2 shots a month, and the injection sites are sore - both thighs. Anyone else have experience with this? I am in Florida and have 4 vertebrae fractures. I’m 61 and would love to hear from people struggling with fractures. I was 5’5” and am now 5’2”

Just for your information: https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-approves-new-treatment-osteoporosis-postmenopausal-women-high-risk-fracture I draw your attention to this paragraph: "Evenity increased the risk of cardiovascular death, heart attack and stroke in the alendronate trial
