flying with stent
flying to turkey on Saturday . I know it might sound a daft question to ask , but will my stent set off any alarms . Do I need to declare it before I step through the scanner ? First time flying since stent was inserted in January so slightly anxious about it .

Still not back to normal
I had a heart attack, (NSTEMI) in August 23. I had a stent and was put on standard medication, plus went through cardiac rehab with good results. But I'm not over it. I go dancing regularly, walk as much as possible and rest when I need to. My GP recently adjusted the dose of bisprolol (doubled to 5mg

stent and cataract removal
Has anyone had a stent fitted at the same time as the removal of a cataract? How did it go? Would you recommend having both done at the same time?

Stopping ezetemibe
1 year post NSTEMI and stent and finally had a call from cardiologist. Basically all fine thankfully. They said I could stop ezetemibe but stay on 40mg atorvastatin. Bit confused as NHS website says ezetemibe is for life. My cholesterol numbers are good ( LDL 1, ratio 1.9, total 2.5, triglycerides 0.4

Stent
Hi, Last year I had an angiogram. It showed a fast heartbeat and a right artery blockage of 70% I am taking procoralan 5mg daily. The cardiologist said there is no threat to me so that's very positive. If I remain symptomatic he may consider putting in a stent. I have discomfort in my chest, a heavy

Changing medication?
Our kiddo has been on Focalin for about four years now and has great success at school. We struggle so much in the mornings (prior to taking meds) , and it has been getting worse. It’s to the point where it’s affecting my other children, and frankly myself and my mental well-being. I’ve been reading

Do I have heart failure or heart disease?
This is my first post. Back in 2019 I had what felt like "flutterings" and breathlessness/dizziness. I was diagnosed with arrhythmia. A 24 hour ecg showed ventricular ectopic beats. An echocardiogram showed mild valve leakages but no obvious cardiomyopathy. I was advised to stop/reduce my caffeine

repost - cancer progression - next steps?
I am reposting in the hope of receiving a response regarding best next steps. Please see my profile for history on my dad's condition. He went to the ER last weekend with severe flank pain and CT revealed left-sided hydronephrosis as likely cystic soft tissue mass obstructing the left ureter. An anterograde
