Ovulation induction
I am likely to do “
ovulation
induction
” with letrozole. Just waiting a few more tests. I was wondering if anyone wants to share there experience with letrozole and scans etc.

Will they consider my BMI if I go private
I'm BMI ~32.5 right now and I need to be <30 to be eligible for
ovulation
induction
. This has been very frustrating as I struggle to lose weight due to PCOS and I'm also not getting any help with managing my pcos as well.

Confused about AMH and letrozole/trigger and IVF
So I went to another doctor to do semen analysis and hormone tests, but instead of doing any of that, I got told to do
ovulation
induction
, with letrozole, follicle tracking and some injection - I have no idea what any of these really are, I just thought it would give me best chance of getting pregnant

Process & timescales - NHS Scotland
I may be offered
ovulation
induction
medication to start with, Clomifene or letrozole (🤞🏻). If this is the case, would this likely be discussed at my first appointment/started soon after? My real concern is that my current BMI is 33, despite working hard on calorie counting and going to the gym.

Laparoscopy - is it needed? Experiences?
Hello I have been having
ovulation
induction
treatment and am planning to start IVF soon. On a recent scan, a 5mm submucosal fibroid showed up and I was very lucky that my private health cover entitled me to an appointment and should cover the costs of surgery.

Devestated - empty looking sac at 7 week scan
Hello, I’ve had a whirlwind of a few weeks which included a totally unselected BFP following our last round of
ovulation
induction
before moving to IVF in the new year. Of course I was anxious but really thought this could be my lucky break and naturally got carried away imagining future baby.

Letrozole / Femara - risk of ovarian cysts?
I'm on my second cycle of letrozole for
ovulation
induction
and this one is unmonitored. The nurse assured me there were minimal side effects, but reading the leaflet I got a bit worried as ovarian cysts were mentioned as a possible side effect!

Covid vaccine or not ?
Thoughts on whether or not to vaccinate for covid please ? Any relevant data out there ? My last jab was October 2023 , I got covid in December. Given I got it anyway I thought no more vaccinations. That was pre PMR/possibly GCA diagnosis in Feb .As always, differing opinions on this . I’m not convinced

*Long Read Warning* How do you know if you’re getting better mentally?
Just need to vent, if you read this and commented thankyou, it helps getting another perspective on the situation. Male, 20 Parents went through a divorce in 2022 and it was ugly to say the least. (Mom was an alcoholic, dad was a cop and emotionally distant due to his Mexican culture and upbringing

COVID positive after fet
Hey all, I’m so upset. Started feeling unwell and decided to take a COVID test and tested positive 5 days after my fet. So another one down the drain. I’m a mixture of angry, resigned and just numb. Another wasted embryo (my first two transfer failed to implant).

Massive leap in heart rate following Covid vaccination - a coincidence?
I'm 80, diagnosed with persistent AF in 2020, and have lived carefully and happily with few symptoms. The excellent Bristol Heart Institute has organised two echos, an MRI and an angiogram showing, to my satisfaction, acceptable results. My heart rate is always low ranging from 30 to 55 beats per
