Questran for Bile Acid Malabsorption
Does anyone know an alternative medication for Questran as there is now unavailability due to supply problems? I am having a bad attack of Bile Acid Malabsorption at the moment and am virtually housebound by it! Any help would be much appreciated 🙏

Malar and/or rosacea?
Hi everyone I wondered whether any members here have both rosacea and a malar flush on their faces? I have a constant red flush across my cheeks but when I'm tired or stressed I get a flare up of rosacea on top. And as I'm really exhausted most the time at the moment they're both evident. Obviously

Malar Rash?
hey I dont mean to intrude on a space made for people actually suffering with Lupus, but I am curious. I have been experiencing Raynauds like symptoms and my face has been getting flushed like this- I wanted to see if there was any chance this could be a malar rash?

Hi, I’ve just been diagnosed with thickening of the nose after my rosacea being under control for 25 years. I don’t know where to begin with treatment options. I’m currently on a waiting list to see an NHS dermatologist but there is a one year backlog. What can I do in the meantime? I’m currently taken

Regret Invisalign tooth shaving
Hello,I am in my 50s and had worn my teeth due to nail biting. I had a plan to straighten first with Invisalign and then get bonding or veneers. I had a bad feeling about the orthodontist from the 2nd appointment...but I stuck with it. He said he was going to do a "very, very slight" shaving in between

IBS, SIBO bad breath
Hi everyone, I have a quick question, since GIs here can't help me, I have come here to ask for a piece of advice from you. My IBS symptoms come and go, I am constantly on pro/prebiotics, and my GI keeps on changing the supplements, but my symptoms flare up whenever I have a stress( I started to notice

Provera update
So I'm on 10mg of provera daily since the 15th of September and I've been bleeding continuously but I have now stopped bleeding since Wednesday. It's like a different world when you aren't bleeding! I've done some research and many women refer to the first period on provera as a "clear out" as the drug

R-alpha Lipoic Acid
I read in the Autumn 2023 ME Association magazine that R-Alpha Lipoic Acid could be helpful for someone with ME. I use Methotrexate for my RA. Has anyone used this supplement with Methotrexate?

Rosacea
Hi, I have rosacea, I started with very small red patches on my cheeks, which I didn't really mind so much. Now, 5 months after diagnosis, it's pretty much covering my whole face, it's painful, itchy and hot. I am on antibiotics- which I think have stopped working. I'm waiting to see a dermatologist.

Risks of being near my niece with Viral Meningitis in hospital?
My niece was on holiday in Taunton with son of 2 and husband. She was admitted as an emergency and had a lumbar puncture which flagged up viral meningitis - this is the second day. She has a bad pains in her brain and a bad neck and waiting for anti viral medication. Sounds very poorly indeed.

Any suggestions? I've developed a very red face and don't know why
I've always been redder than most people in the face. But in the last 2 or 3 years it has been getting much worse. Even my husband has commented on it occasionally - and he is usually very unobservant. I have a history of parts of my face having eczema - but that is currently not bad at all and it wasn't
