Another fun potential Ocrevus adverse event?Watch out for watery diarrhea as a sign of colitis.
I saw an
Ocrevus
commercial tonight while watching TV, and I noticed that they said
Ocrevus
can cause colitis. I don't remember that being in the patient drug info when I started
Ocrevus
in 2022. Do any others on
Ocrevus
remember being told about this, or is it new?

OCrevus
thank you everyone who responded to my post. I wish I could call my neurologist but I have to go to VA for care and calling anyone is impossible. By the time someone does reach you back it’s at least 3+ weeks or more so my only option is to go to ER an/or just wait til my next infusion. If I could ever

OCrevus
I was on
OCrevus
but it made my hair fall out a lot and made my skin aweful. They changed me to the original version of
OCrevus
that starts with K and I will be getting my second infusion of it in less than 10 days.

I8Steroids..
If steroids are bad for treating flare-ups, what about the steroids used in
ocrevus
? I've had 9
ocrevus
infusions...what do I use for a relapse or flare-up? My neuro is not on the steroid bandwagon to stop a relapse because of the damage to bones.. this is a lose-lose situation.

Chronic cough?
Could this be an infection caused by
ocrevus
? Has this happened to anyone, just a terrible cough that makes people give you THE LOOK?

It's been a long time...
She wants to start
Ocrevus
ASAP. I'm nervous about the
Ocrevus
. But I'm more freaked out by new symptoms and difficulties. How do you all deal with progression of symptoms? Any advice about
Ocrevus
? I admit that I am scared at this point.

MS infusion treatment
Has anyone here taken the 2 times per year
Ocrevus
? Or the monthly Tysabri? Which one did you find most effective? The Safety Consideration sheet sounds scary. I would love to hear the cons/pros to your reactions. Thank you all !!

Taking a big risk - 2 years in
I know it’s a risk but after what
Ocrevus
did to me, I’m not willing to take any more of the B cell depleters. So that rules out most of the high efficacy drugs anyways. I have some B cells back so I am creating antibodies when I get a vaccine unlike what happened during my years in

A Dmt someone posted about
Someone was having trouble with
Ocrevus
and switched to another DMT which I was unfamiliar with but which sounded interesting and haven't been able to find the post again, if this rings any bells would love to be enlightened, thanks all in advance for help and patience with a bear of very little brain

Tysabri Infusions
I was previously had the
Ocrevus
Infusions and now changing over to Tysabri. At least this time for treatment, will be a little different to where I'll only to have to go twice a month, instead of every 2 weeks; like before. Has anyone had the Tysabri Infusions?

After getting the infusion ...Ocrevus
Dear friends ! My son rec'd the second shot...all is well thus far. Feeling lucky to report this. Has anyone here had an acne flare up? Or the next day feeling sluggish? Per the registered nurse this stays in the body for 28 days and to be cautious if going out to a large crowd, events and such. Has

Age and therapies
Several years ago, when I turned 70, my neurologist took me off
Ocrevus
due to my age. I was doing good on it with no side effects except a migraine right after the infusion. I dealt with that. I called the mfg and was told they had not done any studies on people over 60.

Insurance question: UHC & Ocrevus?
Have you had a positive or negative experience with United Healthcare and getting
Ocrevus
treatment approved? (I was covered by UHC for 9 months in the past and they rejected the dr prescription several times, refused to have the infusion done at a hospital...).

This is a day of winning 💪
Promise I'm not proud of that 😅).For the MS, I was on copaxone, tried on tysabri (couldn't continue, high JCV titre), so back on copaxone until the 1st of my status epilepticus events, then
ocrevus
, and I'm now on kesimpta. I don't think the kesimpta is working well for me.

Ocrevus?
Have you ended up with a fever or such well on
Ocrevus
? What happened? Regardless, I'm so grateful that I was able to be seen at a renowned MS Center.

Ocrevus approved!
My
ocrevus
infusion was approved AND I got into the co-pay assistance program. It will give me $20,000 a year for copay assistance and $1000-$1500 a year for infusion costs. My first infusion is scheduled November 1st. I feel like I can breathe for the first time in 2 months.

Mid 60's and my MS is still active. So much for the theory that as you age your MS becomes inactive...
Due to my history of having a serious infection while on
Ocrevus
, my neurologist opted to put me on Mayzent. If I do experience symptoms of any type of infections, Mayzent is easier to get out of the body then
Ocrevus
. It seems
Ocrevus
can last in the blood for over a year.
