Tiredness from Zytiga
Hi group! My Dad who is 89 started Zytiga 3 weeks ago for advanced prostate cancer with mets to bone. He takes the Zytiga at 9:30 am with the prednisone on an empty stomach and has 1 Lupron injection. He is unable to wake up until late afternoon and is always tired and we were wondering if the Zytiga

Pluvicto results (good news), next steps
I completed six Pluvicto treatments at Mayo in Rochester in December 2023. Choline-11 Pet scan in January 2024 showed no evidence of PCa, and PSMA Pet scan on May 22, 2024 continued to show complete remission. Pretty incredible to compare scans from a year ago, riddled with PCa, to the most recent scans

How do you handle high appetite?
Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing great. So I'm over 6 month post transplant, and as a part of my 3-component immunosuppression therapy I'm taking methylprednisolone (Medrol by Pfizer), 6mg. And my appetite is so unusually high! I'm almost always hungry. It takes me a lot of willpower and discipline

I need facts on nutrition, vitamins and supplements.
I am a 5 year survivor, currently in recurrence with a rising PSA. Doc has started me on Lupron and Enzalutamide. I’m interested in learning factual info on the effects of diet, nutrition, vitamins and supplements on PCa. I’ve read tons of theories. Where are the clinical reports? Thanks!

Eligard (Lupron) vs. Zoladex
One month ago, Doctor changed the drug from Eligard to Xtandi + Zoladex, It seems to work. The PSA went down from 2.25 to 0.18, and Testosterone went down to 23 from 1080. Why Eilgard not works and Zoladex work??? The are same drug which removes testosteron????? I thought Zoladex is used for women and

Dad 2nd BCR. Advice needed...
After a very late salvage radiation + 1 year Lupron. He has been off ADT for 1 year when PSA began to rise again. From 0.01 to 0.03 in less than 2 months then 0.05 after another 3 months. Is this indicative of an aggressive progression and metastasis? The oncologist said that the doubling time is not

Lupron - start with one month dose or 3 months ?
Dad , 83 , is to start with lupron soon. He has been on bicalutamide since two weeks. He is in good health generally and has not had heart issues apart from hypertension since many years , controlled by medicine. Doctor has advised 3 monthly lupron injections. But I was wondering if it would

Lupron + abi/pred 9 months and PSA<.04 throughout - - consider dropping abi and monitor it?
I am a recurrence case and PSA went to 2.2 last year; multiple possible sites. After 9 months in now, PSA <.04 and TT <10 the whole time. Hopkins MO says he would not risk stopping the abi despite the immeasurable PSA whereas Moffitt MO says he would stop the abi since it "seems" not so needed and

Results from 4 Genomic labs
3 years ago we received a Foundation ONE Report giving us the report he has CDK12 mutation. He has been on Lupron, NUBEQA, and Zytiga. Over time they have failed. Recently, 4 lymph nodes were removed for thorough testing to make sure C had not mutated into Neuroendocrine. It had not. Actually, the

Rising PSA with little shown on PSMA PET
Greetings all. I've been on this forum for years. I've only commented a handful of times, and never made a post. I prefer to usually just read from the sidelines. First of all, a bit about my path thus far. I was diagnosed in May 2010 (age 49) (PSA 4.7 and Gleason 7), had radical surgery in July 2010

Before I leave this wonderful group I'd like to pick your individual/collective brains. Since it's too late to help my husband, I'm looking for info that I can pass on to my son and 6 grandsons so they might better understand this awful cancer should they ever get it. I'm also providing a bit more info

Husband getting extremely tired on Zytiga
Tim began Zytiga one month ago. He is also doing Lupron and EBRT which will be over in 5 sessions (he had 5 weeks of them all together). Up until about 5 days ago, he was working and then going to Pilates once a week and to the gym, but now he is coming home EXHAUSTED from work and barely has the energy

Finally Something’s Working
I have had this mutherf*cker of a disease 19 years. I have had numerous rounds of Lupron. I have been on Casodex, Erleada, Nubeqa. Zytiga, Provenge, 8 rounds of Docetaxel and, now, Pluvicto. As is standard, after my third round of Pluvicto I had a PSMA PET scan. Finally, something seems to be working

Kindly seeking advice about my options
I'm metastatic HSPCa on Lupron/Erleada over two years now. Three periaortic lymph nodes and two ribs lesions. Sooner or later, I will go metastatic HRPCa (average about 3 years to become hormone resistant). So, my question is what kind of treatment coming next Thanks for your input
