Hiprex and D Mannose
However the flare ups became increasing frequent and I had 4 weeks of full dose antibiotics whilst also taking
Hiprex
and then after 4 weeks just continuing on
Hiprex
. 3 days after stopping the antibiotics I got an infection back.

Could be some positivity for frequent UTI sufferers.
Hiprex
is not an antibiotic as such, more a urine steriliser, as my GP explained.

E Coli VACCINE FOR UTI
I have been advised to take an E COLI Vaccine to help with my recurrent UTIs which I just cannot get rid of even with intensive antibiotics,
Hiprex
or D Mannose has anybody else taken this?

Previously I've tried both D-Mannose and
Hiprex
...at different times Today, the result of a horrible C-uti flare, I've been prescribed another treatment dose of Nitrofurintoin with the advice to follow that with
Hiprex
along with vitamin C.

6 Months on and we’re making some progress 🌞🌞
Still taking D Mannose and
Hiprex
. All in all the UTI’s are pretty much non existent for now. So I’m really pleased. The bowel issues are still there but more manageable since the Imodium dispersible which have really been a game changer if I’m out for a meal.

However they have recommended I start taking
Hiprex
which will keep my bladder clean and sterile. That together with the Aluril bladder washes and the intermittent self catheterisation should stave off the UTIs’.

feeling cut inside vagina
I have recurring UTIs -
Hiprex
medication helped a lot but was advised not long term use. Recently prescribed antibiotic for UTI but it feels more like an irritation in vagina - am 73 years of age and gynaecologist has me on list for bladder instillation which I am reluctant about.

I figured out how to tolerate antibiotics (trimethoprim in this case) without huge neuropathic pain flare!! (for real this time!)
:) I had tried the combiation of Benfotiamine, B12, methyl folate, NAC, and ALCAR prior to R-ALA but it did not prevent the neuropathic pain with antibiotics or
Hiprex
.

I have stuffed with this condition for yrs after the menopause.I eventually found a good bladder consultant who started me on
Hiprex

So I got sent home, called 111 and got told to try get some over the counter medication called
Hiprex
. This didn’t work for me whatsoever luckily the next day I was off. So I called 111 again and they said i’d get a call back and was finally prescribed antibiotics, which were of course Macro-Bid.

Has anyone developed a circular rash?
I have already stopped valtrex and
hiprex
. I have been hoping to figure out which drug it might be by process of elimination. Any thoughts from you guys would be helpful! Thanks

Iron blood levels
I’m on
Hiprex
for 3 months because of bladder infections. I’m scared of supplementing iron myself in case it’s the wrong thing to do.

Abatercept (Orencia)
The
Hiprex
for UTI's does seem to work and I wonder why it took so long to get it. I'd never heard of it but it is an OTC item. Might be down to Covid pressures I suppose but why aren't we given information about something OTC that can help for UTI's ??

At present on nightly low dose antibiotic as uti kept coming back - after 6 weeks I’m to start
hiprex
for 3 months. I have burning irritation in vagina and the area looks very red and inflamed.

EGFR MEASUREMENT
I take
Hiprex
also which keeps away urinary tract infections. I give these details as I realise I am fairly OK because these results are low but not too bad. My question is how an eGFR number in USA is converted to UK number.

Neuropathic pain everywhere!
Im taking 100mgs lyrica, 300mgs nupentin, 10mgs endep for nerve pain and I also have radiation induced cyctitis so I'm taking
hiprex
for that and all these meds are increasing my reflux so I take 20mgs of nexium for that.
