Switching from Enbrel to Benepali
A while back he switched to
Erelzi
(at the request of NHS to reduce costs) but did not get on at all well with it, and the consultant was happy to switch him back to Enbrel.

erelzi to benepali…bio similar experiences
Well managed recently with
Erelzi
…prior to this I was on humira and had to switch to Imtaldi, biosimilar due to my hospital suggestions as it was cheaper. mot wasn’t as effective and it took months to get back on an even keel and be well managed again!

Steroid injections
I am taking 5mg steroids daily, weekly injections of methotrexate, weekly injections of
erelzi
biologics and Hydroxychloroquine. This to me seems a very potent cocktail .

First biological injection today
I had my first biological injection today
Erelzi
biosimilar (etanercept) . Very good nurse very thorough. Quite a large pen with a lot of liquid. It went ok but I did get dizzy and my hands trembled after 20 mins it lasted about 15 mins then I got very tired.

Winter Blues
I inject
Erelzi
nee Enbrel for my RA which was diagnosed when I was 22 I am now almost 73. I am fine apart for the odd flare up for most of the year but I suffer from colds and chest infections throughout the winter months. I suppose this is down to the fact that the immune system is suppressed.

Enbrel delivery - half of usual amount
Nothing to worry about really, as my son currently has a slight surplus, as he agreed to switch to
Erelzi
but although he felt the medicine was effective he suffered a lot from the delivery mechanism, so asked to switch back to Enbrel.

I was taking

There's Light at the end of the Tunnel
I started self injecting 4 weeks ago with
Erelzi
(50mg Etanercept once a week) what a difference. The swelling in my wrists and ankles has subsided a bit and the fatigue isn't as bad. I have also cut back on my painkillers.

Changing from enbrel to erelzi thoughts
Hi everyone I’m just asking if anyone on enbrel has been told you need to change onto a new brand of injection called
erelzi
(I think) I’ve been told it works exactly the same as enbrel and that it will help cut costs on the nhs. What do you think?

Is anyone taking Erelzi?
I am worried that, whilst
Erelzi
may in theory be the same thing as Enbrel, anecdotal evidence suggests that people often have a different experience when being switched to cheaper alternative medicines. Has anyone successfully transferred to
Erelzi
?
