At the moment I’m taking
Enoxaparin
after injuring myself during a seizure. But I don’t know if they’ll let me carry on once I’m home and the CCG won’t let my GP prescribe it. I’m just dreading trying to sort it all out. Any advice from anyone navigating the NHS gratefully received.

Tooth Extraction
My dentist is getting very wound up about me being on anticoagulation (currently
Enoxaparin
). The British Dental Society guidelines say no need to stop (this is a relatively easy extraction of a tooth with a very shallow root).

Thank You All For Your Well Wishes- Happy New Year- The Best For us In 2023!
Thank you very much for checking- * it was compartment Syndrome * it did not go to surgery, we lowered the
enoxaparin
dose ( based on weight- should have been correct- but was never checked by my heme when I was switched from warfarin to
enoxaparin
20 November even though I asked for it to be.

Hey...Anticoagulants? Any ideas what are best for indefinite use?
Currently I am using
Enoxaparin
which is okay and seem to be getting used to the needle thing! I just close my eyes!! I have recurrent DVT and had a PE going to my lung a few years back.

Is the end in sight?
And to add to the misery, a small blood clot was found in the pulmonary artery, So even though I am bleeding internally, I was put on
Enoxaparin
. I had a blood transfusion in the hospital, Hemoglobin is around 7,5 I have just had my second round of Keytruda and still on Lupron.

Back again!...Cirrhosis, DVT and those s**t days! I need to speak to my 'Liver Doctor' who has failed to make my last 2 previous calls.😶
I have to inject myself with
Enoxaparin
but was previously on Warfarin. I had Grade 2 varices before and concerned.! Where is my Gastroenterologist? A letter has been sent by the Emergency Assessment doctor. Its the waiting that is frustrating.

Bruising with blood thinning injections
Hi all, I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant and have been put on blood thinning injections (
Enoxaparin
) due to previous pre-term labour/ miscarriages as well as finding out I have ‘sticky’ blood. I’m finding these injections rather painful so have been icing the area first.

Fresh embryo transfer advice
I will be on progesterone suppositories twice a day and maybe
enoxaparin
injections. Is there any other medication that I should be on e.g. oestrogen? This is my one and only shot of IVF using my own frozen eggs from a years ago.

Why is my incision still draining?
During both of these surgeries, I have had to take
enoxaparin
injections twice daily for a week before the procedure, and again for a week after along with my normal dosage of 10mg of warfarin, until my INR is 2.5 or better.

Severe bruise - seek medical advice?
Currently on
Enoxaparin
(heparin) to thin my blood due to triple positive APS. Unfortunately on Saturday I was in an accident and have developed a severe bruise. It has been extremely swollen and painful to walk on (as it is on my leg and covers my entire upper thigh).

anything but warfarin, please!!!
After that, I was put on
enoxaparin
for 3 months and switched to Fragmin till I can be seen face to face. My hematologist is pretty sure that I will be put on warfarin after I'm done with Fragmin, but I really do not want to.

Two doses of enoxaparin inj a day for APS stroke survivors?
My question is i am on
enoxaparin
2.2 mg/kg every twelve hours is this average for most. I know some without strokes take only take 40mg a day as a preventative. What are other”APS stroke” patients taking.

Frustrated and bloods still not right
I’m taking
enoxaparin
twice a day and still wearing stupid stockings. I’m no longer swollen, my girth and weight are back to normal, in fact I’m losing weight, I just have no interest in food. I feel very low and I just don’t know what to do.
